One of the funniest band photographs of all time! (In my opinion)
Image

Genesis - circa 1973.
Tony banks is staring at the camera like a hypnotist, Peter Gabriel has a genuine smile, Phil can’t concentrate and Steve Hackett and Mike Rutherford look stoned! :D

I was going through the discography of Susumu Yokota (I still have yet to explore all of it) and the artwork for his album "Kaleidoscope" stuck out to me; wasn't this the artwork that was nicked for a fake BoC track on iTunes over a decade ago?

Anyone from way back then have some confirmation?

UK getting rid of most COVID measures is good news! For the people there of course and for me personally, because now I can go hiking for 2 weeks in Scotland in May as unvaccinated, because quarantine measures are going to be removed, yay!

Indeed. Honestly, an unexpected outcome, but a welcome one. Very excited to be attending shows once again!

"One Nothing on an Individual Basis"

I wrote this in a notebook and I have no idea what it could mean.

I have a phrase that's been stuck in my head for ages. Been wondering where it came from, I tried to search it up on the web but no luck so I’ve come to the conclusion I must've made it up.

"It's not how big the wave is, but where it crashes."

Honestly, I should really get a YouTube account at some point. So it can't of been me. :)

I've been racking my mind about it. No idea where it's from to be frank.
Sounds like some existential philosophy type phrase.

Fucking BBC lol. When are people going to open their eyes and see that western totalitarianism is on the rise and the real cause for all this shit.

One day people will see, I hope sooner than later.

So uhh... at the risk of sounding tasteless, are we going to have another current events thread named after a Tomorrow's Harvest track?

Yeah, it's only a matter of time. Maybe better to focus all relevant discussion in a single thread than all over the place.

That way people who don't give a shit won't be bothered reading anything about it they don't want to.

But that's just my opinion. That being said, Semena Mertvykh or?

Growing up in the Bush Jr. administration, war was just a matter of fact thing that was always in the background. To see the withdrawal in the middle east happen the way it did followed not long after by this gives me a certain kind of hopelessness and despair that only comes with the complete uncertainty of what will follow.

War is created by conflict. Conflict arises only because of the illusion of separation from one another. When all the beautiful, different and unique expressions of the One Life are mistaken for an infinite number of separate fragments, conflict arises ultimately. But it does not need to be so.

Let's take a magnet for example, which always has a positive and a negative pole. If either pole is taken away, the other could not exist. In other words, they need each other to exist. One does not make any sense without the existence of the other. As is the case with black and white, male and female, left and right, birth and death, light and dark, tension and relaxation, me and you, etc. The whole external world is based on this dualistic principle. The two poles of a magnet are in direct opposition to each other, yet they are never ever in conflict. They are different, but never separate. Because they are both expressions of that which is forever Undivided.

It is this shared One Being that gives birth to unity in the external world. And it is necessary more than ever for every individual to connect with this, in these most challenging times for many.

Just something that was on my mind and I felt like sharing. I hope you are all doing okay, please remain calm and take refuge in the presence of your most intimate Being that you are, which is inherently at peace, forever.
