I know quite a few things about photo encoding (and am working on my own image format at the moment). I decided to use some of my knowledge to upscale these old cover arts. I did not use neural networks for this.

Wow, acid memories looks incredible! there's much less noticeable pixels than on the bocpages image.

A noticeable improvement for the both of them, although I noticed the Acid Memories image is a little stretched out in comparison to the bocpages image. Was that a result of the process, or did you use a different image? Great work, all round!

They shouldn't be upscaled. The devil is in the details.

For some reason, Imgbb which I have relied on for a while for image hosting has decided to stop loading my images for some reason.

Use something like RealESRGAN, it works a lot better than those dumb mobile apps that use proprietary models that only end up making the image look worse.
