AND....... their off! HAHAHAHAHAHA. Should we be reaching further afield to get the morse code translated? The music I've heard of defax is pretty chilled and relaxing. Resetting
- I hope we all live long enough to hear a new Boards of Canada album. I hope they live long enough to give us one.

Re: whitehorse
First thoughts were Zephyr Method and Clayton (both truly gifted). Then I thought that perhaps it's all the same person. There are several other examples throughout this forum but I'm fairly new to it so I will inevitably fail to point all of them out. But! Here's a theory with no backing...
This music can be pitch changed to reveal that it's actually snippets of the acoustic version of Music Has the Right to Children. Obviously, I jest. But wouldn't it be cool??
rodox: your comment got me thinking like this.

It's from Psalm 127. Go back a page and they've got it all laid out. Pretty cool, especially the "ocean beneath desert" thing.

Here's my thing... The person who created this exact thread, inserted a specific link to music... They can simply respond to these comments, right?
Not interacting makes no sense to me, other than to be purposefully elusive.
I'm calling you out. Do you have more music you can share? Because you're fucking good and I'm greedy for more.
Now, on the off chance this is something bigger... Then, by all means, count me in.

Still no response from the person or people behind this awesome stuff.
Wild speculation... The Morse code is somehow a callback to the 162.225 Mhz thing on Geogaddi

Re: whitehorse
Perhaps. Everything from that post is no longer available and i would really like a download of it if i could find one.
If it were me, at this point i would reveal myself because... Well fuck... People like my music!
But it's not me and whoever it is doesn't want the attention. I get that. I truly do.
I will say this, however; I don't like the whole hoax/fake thing people do here and elsewhere with BOC. It's not entertaining at all and it's kind of a time waster.
Legitimate sounding 'fakes' may as well be there own category here now. It's becoming it's own genre.
Desfax, Whitehorse, Thrift Store Anomaly tape person, whoever you are: Come be my friend. Hang out with me and let me bath you with compliments about how fucking amazing and talented you are. You are talented but this seems to go nowhere if you don't present yourself.
Or am i missing the point?
Simply put, you make me want to make music again and i love you for that.
Now give me all your music!

UnknownUnnamed goes by "The Lesser Heads" and I have Transmission #1-5 if anyone needs them. I missed purchasing Research for a Better Tomorrow and (Xtra)cks*.Sky and Trails wrote:Perhaps. Everything from that post is no longer available and i would really like a download of it if i could find one.

If I may, I would be interested in hearing some of UnknownUnnamed's transmission pieces. Re: whitehorse
Even the name, The Lesser Heads, is perfect.
Is there just some random AI out there mimicking BOC, nearly flawlessly? Because it's freaky how these things appear out of nowhere, then the creator disappears or takes no credit.
If I ever create a decent fake, believe me, I will be taking credit for it, bragging about it, and constantly reminding people that I did it.

Desfax, Whitehorse, whoever... Are you reading this?
If you are, know that I'm still listening to your music. It's still lovely.

Hey you! Whoever created this.
Is this related to the vhs take and the recent videos with Morse code?
I swear to God, if you're about to drop new music, I'm going to sit impatiently waiting.
