BOC are supposedly being featured in a zine and are the second artist featured on the cover of the May issue of Stargate. Someone on the forum pointed out how all the artists on the cover were being interviewed in the previous issue but we are not certain what exactly that entails for BOC themselves

This ARG is most likely something intent on capitalizing on BOC 'activity'

I don't think it's the lads, the way this panned out is the opposite of how I would expect them to grab our attention. That can't be said for everything though, look at Sheol Boundary.

I'm a bit worried by the morality behind this.
As I mentioned before, if the creators are implying and wanting us to go to these specific locations at a certain time, even If it's fake, that strikes me as a bit 'dodgy' if you catch my drift.
Not saying this activity is nefarious but I can't quite grasp it.
Something is a bit off to me.

Has this been talked about yet? It is supposedly a random tape found at a thrift store by a worker, there are multiple Boards songs on it. Different versions of Boards songs. Boqurant, XYZ, Seeya Later.. could this be legitimate?

A few or more years ago I used to work at a local Red White & Blue Thrift center and the employees would always get first pick on any of the items that were dropped off. There was a box full of VHS tapes, some of which were horror movies. I grabbed four of the tapes. The tapes have remained on my shelf and never watched any of them until recently over the pandemic when the entire world was in lockdown. I went to go watch The Shining. I took the tape out of it's box and noticed there was no label on the VHS tape. I popped it in and to my surprise this is what was on that tape. I was a little irritated, as I am a big Stephen King fan and was looking to watch the movie. I fast forwarded the tape, but it goes all blank after the music and clouds stop. I figured, some jack-ass decided to over dub cheesy music over some boring video footage of clouds. After all these months, I decided to convert the VHS footage to digital and post it.

No idea who made this tape, whether it's some kind of joke, or what the music is. I tried to use the Shazam music app to see if I could identify, but no luck there. Maybe someone else knows? If I had to make an honest guess, I think possibly the tape is a student experiment for a class and maybe they made a tape compiled of music to throw on top of it and they accidentally put it in the wrong cassette box? Either way, I find it interesting or maybe slightly creepy. I was goin to throw the tape away, but something about the whole ordeal, I find very interesting.

Today I decided to make this video to speak on the VHS tape that I stumbled upon during my time working at a Red White And Blue thrift store. I'm actually shocked that my last upload gained the attention that it did. I read through some comments stating that I'm the one who made the video and the music that was put on it. I'm sorry, but I am not the one who created the VHS tape.

I am not a musician. I don't know the first thing about playing a musical instrument lol. The tape is not for sale. You are welcome to rip the audio from the original video if you wish to. In the google search bar type in 'Youtube to MP3 converter' and you can copy and paste the link and download the audio of the Thrift store-found VHS tape.

I plan on doing more research on the artist that everyone is claiming who they think it might be. Everyone on here keeps mentioning Boards Of Canada. I plan on looking more into who he or she is and make the connection.

Metadata allegedly references a song 23.5.14.5.5.4.13.21.19.9.11 by iamamiwhoami. It could be that the YouTube downloader website ( http://flvto.biz ) incorrectly inserted this piece of information. Possible red flag.

But I did some digging just in case this piece of metadata is in fact of value:
