Farewell Fire is an interesting track, the way it fades off to silence and keeps going leaving this long gap. Except if you boost the levels, it's all still there, you just can't hear it normally. It's not my favourite thing they've done but it feels like the most relevant sometimes, with these long gaps between releases.

Can't help but imagine they're still there working on things we can't hear.

That track never fails to make me really sad every single time I listen to it, Campfire Headphase might be BoC's more relaxed album but it gets really depressing for me towards the end.

My new theory on the I Feel Good prank last year. It was actually a direct response to the Catherine Fell ARG of August 2020 but since BOC take years to complete anything it took til April 2021. Then they decided they were going make it an April fool's prank but once again they got delayed so it ended up April 5th instead.

It was their own response to the constant fake ARGs by making their own shit post that lead to nothing but a black screen...and they got us good.

The key point to take from this is, BOC get delayed a lot probably from outside non-BOC interference. Look at the remixes, both Sisters and Treat Em Right took a while for the bros to come around to em.

I can relate to things taking too long.

I kind of like the mental image of the brothers getting really irritated because they keep missing deadlines, but not serious deadlines, silly shit like April Fool's jokes, etc.

Mainly, I want to believe that they both saw Echelon's comment and were like, "Hey! Fuck this! We can pull a proper prank!"
And then they miss it by 4 days.

Yeah this was not me being serious. Was an April Fools in the speculation thread. I was simply lampooning how BOC takes forever to do anything, even respond to reddit pranks.

They don't care about the fakes I don't think, I think they'll be laughing at us all, or just thinking we're weird, amusing ourselves with it all.
I tweeted them saying I was going to do it and if they didn't want me to to just say stop or something. I messaged again during asking permission to carry on and if they wanted me to stop just respond by calling me a dick. They didn't respond, of course they didn't but they would have seen my messages and probably thought I was a dick but at the same time it was enough to say "crack on, dig your own grave you loon" probably.
So I doubt any of the tiny things they have done recently were a direct response to my shite but they probably were a wave to say "HI, we're still here!" Using Hell Interface could be a literal HI!
