Holy shit, it looks like they're pulling it all! Downloading as much as I can right now.
I've got the original VHS tape in good quality, a couple of the little teaser vids, and Eleven Missing Tracks.

This is strange! And right before that zine article with BOC comes out.
Also, isn't this date significant in regards to this whole thing? Maybe I'm getting that wrong.

I have to say, this is something special. I don't get the multiple video uploads saying goodbye, all with different numerical stuff going on in the titles.

Perhaps there is a little more music out there being pointed to by whoever is behind all this?

And please, what is the Selection A Offload 2? I don't think I'm in the loop on that.

IMO this (Selection A) Offload 2 sounds nothing like the music captured on the original VHS thrift store anomaly tape, and is the furthest sounding from the brothers’ Old Tunes era sound. Not saying it is or isn’t BOC but had this come out first, it would have been fairly easy to dismiss it as fake.

I can't help but think that this is only a temporary goodbye. Maybe the May 5th article will shed some light.

G _ _ _ _ _ _ _ F _ _ _ _ _ _ = 7 6 was never deciphered, was it? The video description gave foreshadow if the numbers were converted to letters using an A1Z26 cipher and then used as a Caesar ciphertext where A=Z.

I don't think this is very likely but given the anxiety around fakes within the community I had wondered if BOC had created something to satirize that.

Oh, I'm really not trying to put my 'Fake or Real' opinion out there as I don't have one. In fact, my place here is just sitting on the fence observing.

I'm open minded as to the creator. BoC or not, it makes no difference to me personally.

It had been mentioned a few times previously here and within related comments on Reddit and YouTube, that some felt this was BOC pretending to be someone else pretending to be BOC… In hindsight, looking back at the ridiculous backstory, the hidden ciphers pointing to the thrift shop, all the follow-up videos, the account of someone attempting to sell the thrift store VHS for profit, I feel like we’re having our balls busted in good fun. Many of us being so hyper-pedantic about these guys and their music and all, we’re easy targets lol.

I still stand by that.

If it is NOT them, then I want to meet the creator and see their production techniques.
At this point, I'm seriously considering creating my own (gag) podcast, and interviewing people like the creator of this stuff. At least then I would have the pleasure of knowing things, hearing explanations for musical choices, etc.
