If they continue their release schedule as they did with their previous records then it'll be approximately in August 2009 maybe sooner but not before 2009 I guess.

Music has the Right to Children = 08-1998
+ 42 months
Geogaddi = 02-2002
+ 44 months
The Campfire Headphase = 10-2005
+ 46 months
New album = 08-2009

I just read something about water on Mars in the news...maybe it'll be sooner than we think? Or possibly never. :P

from the thread: APHEX TWIN - NEW ALBUM IN 2007, Source > French Magazine "TRAX n°101 DEC.2006"

QUOTE(Pitbulle @ Dec 11 2006, 03:21 PM)
QUOTE

GOOGLE TRANSLATION:

"After a a little dull end of the year, the first quarter 2007 will be confined of a number impressing of very awaited albums. One speaks thus about new LCD Soundsystem, Bloc Party, Klaxons, Digitalism, Joakim, Air, Jay-Jay Johanson, Scratch Massive, Micronauts, Teki Latex in solo, LFO!!! , Boards Of Canada, Aphex Twin… Without of course counting the many more obscure exits but exciting which will not fail to invade the vats."

this is either good or bad, bad because the better albums have been what like 40 months of hardwork and this is like a year...i dont know how i feel about this....although im starting to think i like trans canada better than a lot of the songs on the campfire headphase...

I've been thinking about that "years of work = better songs" thing too, but I feel reassured because of how good Trans Canada is.
