Everybody probably knows this anyway, but Warp don’t number their releases consecutively, but can use numbers out of sequence for certain releases. Autechre got 111 and 333, and it wouldn’t be unusual for 666 to be held back even if it isn’t the 666th release

Nice to have a bit of reassurance from MDG, presumably he's confirmed releases before, do we k ow how long it took to come to fruition/harvest last time?

1996 is an interesting date for BOC. Release of HI Scores but also if we remember, the cosecha transmissions last login was August 22 1996. Probably a coincidence but maybe 1996 was a special time for the development of BoC
MDG confirmed a new album before. TH, which took 7 years as we know haha. I don't think it will be that long though

I hate to be cautious since I'm usually positive but let's simply hope that he didn't let the cat out of the bag too early.
If there's anything to know about the bros, it's that they operate on a different timeline. A new album coming could mean December or next year. I sure hope not but I must be the devils advocate here.
Either way, 2022 is a great year for music. I hope BOC manage to squeeze it in this year. They'd look great next to Animal Collective, Arcade Fire, Kendrick and Thom Yorke.
