Plaid have officially done a parody of transmissione ferox on their IG. Transmission Falorx. Kind of hilarious their new marketing campaign is a playful imitation of BOCs (if it isn't though, don't go after me haha)

Looks like we're getting new Plaid and Bibio this fall. I'm not complaining though. These are the Warp artists an IDM/BOC head like me actually enjoys.

Bibio's new album sounds like it will be fun, that's a highlight this year, don't get too down. BoC may never bring anything out again, resign to that and move on and if something does come in time, bonus.

They might be having extistential crisis in that they have produced something that isn't like what we expect and are wondering what to do with it. They might be "people are not going to think this fits with BoC" but then again, they'd probably think "fuck em, they get what they get"

NIN wont make another Downward Spiral, The Cure wont make another Pornography, Depeche Mode won't make another Violator, and BoC likely won't make another Geogaddi, but I'll still gladly check out what they have to offer because I like their style and what they've already shown they're capable of.

I sorta doubt we’ll get an announcement this year since its already mid-September, but I’m keeping an open mind to the whole “expectations” thing. Odds are that we’ll see the album within the next year or two— especially now that we know one is on its way.
