ChatGPT, AI, etc, really fellows, no one is there pushing buttons, AI is dirt cheap as a service, why even pay someone when you can have an algorithm just trigger and post some random semi related fluff that will get reflected in a gazillion mirrors, filters, smoke and whatnot.
The internet is evil they said, I will even go as far as the internet is becoming a vast human desert where we are just observing the surface ripples.

Peace.
The sheer emptiness of the content definitely gives an AI feel. Maybe that Whitney Houston photo and the melting Nazi are completely AI generated content.
One of them described the second half of Tomorrow's Harvest as "less human" and perhaps this is the next step.
Would be hilarious if we were getting strung along by a robot this whole time.

They're out there operating without any decent restraint, totally beyond the pale of any acceptable human conduct. And they're still in the field recording loops.
What are they going to say about them? What? Are they going to say they were a kind band? They were a wise band? They had plans? They had wisdom? Bullshit, man!

Just watched this the other day. The 70s had some wonderful weird synth usage in movies. Midnight Express might be the funkiest.

Yeah man apocalypse really is a trip. Never really paid attention to the music in express but I definitely will, I'm about due a viewing of that.
The last movie with a really notable score I watched was 'The Soldier' 80s Low budget nuclear spy action, score was by Tangerine Dream, Check it

I guess Peter Gabriel and BOC both have some sort of 'long game' going on right now with their elusive next album and as fans we do have to be patient. Sucks for me because those are my favorite musicians
Aye, one track per month on every glorious lunar cycle. His method is a strange one, I'm starting to get the feeling he's mooning (mugging) us off y'know?
If I'm being truthfully honest, I hope BOC don't take a leaf out of our Pete's book.

Like MAX/MSP?
There are three possibilities in life: to be something, nothing or everything. In the first there is suffering, in the second there is peace and in the third there is happiness and love."

Waiting 20 years and then having to suffer a trickle out of tracks each month is very akin to waterboarding
I'm going to hope BOC aren't as pretentious and/or sadist haha

Ah ha, Yes just like that!
I always used to wish I had a function on one of my synths to have a random function, maybe as part of a patch matrix whereby one could patch any parameter via 'random' to 'random' and then controlled by a global random source, this creating random patches, notes, envelopes and filter modulations and such. I'm not up to date with current synth technology so maybe this has already became a thing, like an 'auto noodle' function
the takes about boc's social media just keep getting more and more ridiculous
from "this band who is extremely image conscious has a random warp intern running their accounts" to "there's not even a human running the accounts, it's entirely AI generated" lmao
