I can see CDs having a big comeback in 5 years or so. The demand for lossless / FLACs gets bigger and bigger every year, and I could see people (younger generation) in a few years viewing CDs as a way of "physically owning lossless".

do we think Spiro was recorded for Geogaddi or MHTRTC? i’m pretty certain ATP Track 2 was Geogaddi, and the 11 minute Warp10 track is also Geogaddi. but i can never decide on whether Spiro is for Geogaddi or MHTRTC. MDG pls help
it's always sounded like it was a transitionary track that was initially written in 1998 or 1999. It has some of the eeriness of Geogaddi but with more of the airy momentum of MHTRTC. So... neither?

I think our best bet for a BoC release this year is late Summer. Typically there's about a month and a half waiting period between a Warp album's announcement and release, and it seems like it takes about a year from when an album is finished for it to be announced. Be poised for a June/July announcement.

Best bet indeed! I like your thinking. Especially because OPN (Daniel Lopatin) confirmed a new album this year and most people take him seriously. So why not believe a similar confirmation from MDG last year? I'm all game for this!
