Same here, to be completely honest. It's kind of an outdated term at this point.

The guiltiest of guilty!

Randy Newman - I Love L.A

(Something about this hook I adore.)

Wait, wasn't Gorillaz big with all the /mu/tants, or did I miss something? :|

If Gorillaz is a music taboo then go ahead and call me Damon Albarn.
That music video has inspired lots of longing, if only I had a time machine. I'd set it for 19-2000! I don't slap their music on that often anymore, I was a pretty big fan of all things Blur and co around the release of the most recent album Song Machine. (Can see how the trip-hop styles of the self titled now seems out of date, I do dig them though.)

A cover of the alt-rocking track by No Doubt but re-imagined as a delicate romcom soundtrack ballad. (Pop-soul like Emeli Sandé.)

Wyvern Lingo - Just A Girl (featuring Loah)

Fetch the puke bucket, I love it.

My feelings exactly. I prefer Blur way more anyways.

Thank U, Next was a song by her I couldn’t bring myself away from one Christmas period. And I'm not much of a pop head by any stretch but I kind of consider that one perfect.

basically steely dan & springsteen & billy joel & eagles. aesthetically i feel "guilty", but its music with a lot of depth & complexion, while still being very comforting pop. i use it any time i feel in distress

I f***ing love this song, dammit!

Every time I hear this song, I just imagine a Butthole Surfers style band performing a pastiche on the whole punk movement. The frontman comes out with a '50s greaser outfit and an SLC Punk style mohawk, singing a bunch of platitudinous words vaguely related to politics, swiveling his hips like Elvis, jumping around the stage like a cross between Mariko Goto and Trent Reznor in the March of the Pigs video in between fits of aimlessly slapping at a Casio keyboard, and the chorus is just the guitarist and bassist singing gibberish in unison like they're singing something meaningful. It all puts a smile on my face.

The fact that it's actually performed by a well respected band with no irony whatsoever just adds to it.

Emily Montes

I LOVE this album, one of the funniest and best outsider albums of all time imo.
You’re always on a war with yourself, you’re just used to it.
