That by the time they were making fairly amateurish demo tapes/CDs to send round record labels (e.g. BOC Maxima) they had already released several albums on CD, vinyl and cassette in numbers of up to 200 each and not one single photo, let alone actual music, has ever surfaced from these? That over nearly 30 years they have managed to keep 200 or more people sworn to secrecy because one day they would have a mysterious reputation to uphold? Come on.[/quote]

Yes, it seems pretty obvious that the previous releases were along the same lines as well, and I don't think they've ever tried to claim otherwise. They were entirely self-released after all. The numbers do seem a bit high but maybe they've got a lot of friends. Maybe they've still got half of them unsold in a box in the garage

I was actually angry about this because I was out all day and had a feeling this was a fake. (Felt very much like the mysterious tape saga)

But then I actually listened to the music and it's a great hypothetical Hooper Bay. It's got ritualistic Geogaddi vibes but at the north pole instead. Like if BOC did their own version of the Resident's Eskimo. Well played gentlemen.
