Because we just love the fuckers, and we can all use some eyecandy sometimes. Let's post our pets!

This is Charlie, I just took her home 3 weeks ago, she's a Swiss white shepherd female, and she's goddamn amazing!

This is Luna, she's 2,5 now, awesome cat but still a bit afraid of the new doggo.

Trying to find that pic of my pet rats from a few years ago.

The problem with rats is that they effectively become part of your family, incredibly loyal and friendly after a while, but they die after a couple of years. I was so broken that I haven't wanted to get another pet since.

This is Ginger! She's a 5 year old Pyrador with a little bit of Golden Retriever in her. My boyfriend and I adopted her a few months ago. We go on two mile walks every evening and she loves belly rubs.

This is my sweet Toons. She lived on the streets of Bosnia for the first four months of her life. I paid for her to come to the UK.

She's objectively the best dog in the world.

I had a dog growing up; his name was Fred.

Also three cats, but I don't have any pictures of them. I didn't inherit the "cat whispering" gene like my sister. I'm more of a dog person anyway, being born in the year of the wood dog after all.

My cats name is Bandit

He has an incredible and sad story - my best friend found him dying on the side of the road, somebody has beaten him up so badly, he was bleeding from everywhere - eyes, nose, ears, he had broken limbs, etc. She took him to the vet, to put him out of his misery, cause he was dying. A week later the vet called her, and told her that Bandit is alive and well, and asked her if she wants to take him home. She was surprised, but obviously she took him. She had him for a few years, but then she had to give him up for adoption, because she had another cat, and they were fighting for dominance at her house, and Bandit wouldn't let the other cat in to the house. She asked me to adopt him, because Bandit really liked me, and would always come to me, to get pat, and sit on my lap while I was there. Now he has a home for good, and we all love him very much

What a great story! Animals have an incredible will to live, despite being mistreated by humans. Still we humans have deep connection for our pets, I believe for a thousand years already.

Thats so true arvy! I think that animals are a gift from God, nature, or whatever you want to call it. Their innocence is something that we should all learn from, and see their simple curiosity about the world as something to take from, because we overcomplicate ourselves so much with things that are unnecesary especially now, in the era of being overstimulated so much with everything around us.
