Re: Tomorrow's Harvest
I don't think he is a Spaniard. He speaks Spanish, but sounds Colombian to me. Definitely not from Italy nor Spain. Nice set!Orbited insanitarium wrote:I saw this yesterday, it’s BoC themed DJ set (the disc jockeys reactions are priceless)
I think this guy is Spanish not Italian but I’ve never seen a live set made entirely of boards tracks intercontinental wise before!
Off the top of my head he spins rue the whirl, dawn chorus, dayvan cowboy, nlogax & nothing is real.
Entertaining stuff!
By the way, happy 10th anniversary!

Love it, I love how the idea of TH is watching the screen, which basically is the projection of your mind through the collapse and eventual sundown of humanity.Orbited insanitarium wrote:Thank you!good to hear, is a blast from the past to watch that mix again.

HOLY TRINITY the SUN:
Split your infinities (biggest invention of human civilization technology will rule it with autocratic iron fist)
Uritual (eventual singularity of technology and religion in to something our minds can't yet to comperehend)
Nothing is Real (afterlife, totall bliss, and eternal struggle to understand your purpose from monkey to space but still questioning the reality)
Sundown (the end, the beautifull realization of finality, final rays of warmth (last moments of civilization before the eternal night))

Re: Tomorrow's Harvest
the palindromic theory & the albums open ended transitions,, structure that the fans can play with, is a reference to the fact that our eventual collapse could come about in any order, any scenario,, and we'd still reach the same fate no matter our scientific optimism & struggle to move beyond gods will/ universes will (there is no clear distinction between the two). there is always something bigger than us. when you move up the food chain enough only the universe becomes your predator and that is a terrifying spot to be in. nihilistic indeed!! i wouldnt be surprised if thee next album of BOC is done from the perspective of something completely non-human.

TH's cover is supposed to mimic a mirage
Ever driven by a major city and been like "wow, that's a beautiful view" before you remember everything that happens there?
