It's been a long since BoC don't write something that wasn't sharing a video or article.
The last time before the actual Threads post was about the David Bowie death.
And i feel like when they says "Future news & announcements", it's telling that from those who think that they stopped making music the answer is no, they still are making music, could be a remix, single, or the LP5 itself, but they are doing something, and one day will be out, even if in the mind of the duo a future announcement is like waiting more 5 years, like the message of MDG to babylulu, one year later and still is on its way.

Also the retweets of Mike Sandison account not only is a way to confirm officialy a account, but to give a sign about the speculation that was having with the Marcus Eoin accounts on Instagram and Twitter, especially now with the recently possibility of have a collab with Odd Nosdam.

I still think all that fanfare for Music 25th means something too. We are in an anniversary year still and Warp/Bleep acknowledged a new album.

It's kinda weird but Bibio who recently announced an EP doesn't seem to have a way to listen to the tracklisting on the Warp website (not even the single). It seems to have disappeared. I do not know why this is (a glitch probably) but maybe they're getting ready to announce something else too.

August and September are two months where BOC hasn't released anything and the whole 822 and the dropping of the Pioneer's Plaque on September 7th seem sus.

Best case scenario is they organized the threads to drop and announce something really soon like in the next two months.

Though this is me being way too optimistic as usual.

Boards of Canada and Oneohtrix Point Never are the next albums coming out in the fall. Next week they're gonna make an announcement for BOC which will be due in September or October. Notice how they pushed the inconsequential releases to November 2nd? The big guns are coming.

The Threads was also created because the news will be arriving soon so you better be ready to eat those words, Spaniard.
