Just wanted to share this random finding with all of you. I don't know if this is already being discussed anywhere else, but Alva Noto (I think he doesn't need any introduction) did one of his 'remodels' of a cinematic piece from Henrik Lindstrand, a pianist.
The interesting part, especially for us, is the direction where Carsten Nicolai took this one to, I won't spoil the surprise, listen for yourself:
