Yeah, I wanted to create a thread about this too, but you made it first. Didn't have this video in mind, because I haven't seen it yet, but I have this since I was little. It grew alot over the years tho, to the point that when Im sitting in a quiet room, it feels like you are in an airport. Im going to watch this video later, but from what I can tell already, its what I have as well. But aside from the low frequencies, I also hear a higher one. Its similar to "to here knows when" by mbv, or a TV static. Aside from the sound, I also see it visually, and feel it in my body. But in my case, I wouldn't necessarly say its coming from the outside. Its somewhere in between the outside, and the inside, if that makes sense. Its like its produced by the brain, or something like that. But in this video it says it can be recorded, yes? I always thought it was a neurological problem, related to anxiety. I hear it literally all the time, without any pause.

I saw the topic title and was like "Oh I'll probably link that Benn Jordan video" before I clicked into it.

I hear this sound from my parents. I heard it all of the time growing up and it drove me crazy and I thought it was just something normal that everybody heard. Imagine my surprise when I moved out a decade ago and found peace.

I still hear it when I go there. My Dad is a heavy smoker, so much so that you can smell it emanating from the house when you're out in the yard, so I kind of chock the sound up to the biology of my body interacting with that somehow. I've never whipped out a meter and tried to measure it, but maybe I should (it'd either debunk or confirm the cigarette smoke theory).

I'm on Benn's patreon and sent him a message letting him know because he was traveling, looking for people who heard it. But, I never heard back from him.

Thats interesting - so you hear it at a specific place, not everywhere? What about when you were a kid, and went on vacation for instance? Didn't notice its not there? Im just curious
