Let's do that! I don't want to spoil the fun, but I found the mentioned handjob file as an MKV. Extracted the audio and found a 5.1 track. SPOILERS AHEAD!
None of the tracks have a clean version of Echus, though. Seems like they used the same or a similar recording to the one we've also got. The crowd is present throughout the whole thing. Even some bonus woods ambience towards the end. Bummer! Seems like the Mansin cover is the best way to go for now.
As far I can tell the recording on the DVD unlike with what is found on Soulseek or on rareboc's site is directly from the soundboard from the live event! But yes looking back know there still is allot of background audio on those individual tracks. Either way it'd be nice to show off the DVD once it arrives. Maybe there's something interesting in those extra 51 minutes?
Well the flac version using unmix didn't work very well. Got most of the noise but left in some whistles and also removed a bit of synth in areas. Maybe someone else can do a better job

Original file name "All.Tomorrow's.Parties.2009.DVDRip.x264-HANDJOB.mp4"
I think that one is a cover version. Description says it is!
About that 5.1 version of ATP.. Where would I find the thread about that? Would love to dig trough the audio tracks myself and googling the handjob link doesnt really help. Will keep digging though.
Creator of the MV here.
Yup, it’s the Mansin cover with some hi-pass EQing.
Currently doing some work to match the live songs to the live visuals, I currently found that one of the ATP photos (a greenish/badly color corrected one) shows Julie and Candy and not a new one, and two sunrise videos existing, one for EYDIAB, and another for Amo Bishop Roden.
You’re always on a war with yourself, you’re just used to it.
Had a BoC dream last night: in my dream I woke up to everyone freaking out and posting a picture of the new album cover that was leaked by the broz. The cover had a picture of a skull (lol) with a glaze of red and orange colors. The theme of the album revolved around a relatively unknown celeb from the 70s– I didn't know or recognize who he was, but he wore mustache and had dark brown hair. There was also a single that I could hear, and it sounded pretty generic. The release date for the album was end of March.
I hope the only thing that is true about this is the release date....... and maybe the mysterious mustached-man.
Why do you think the BoC website still exists but it doesn't work. Maybe they will upload all their early stuff on it? Did they said something about it in interviews or this isn't possible?

They keep paying for the boardsofcanada (and other) domains to prevent name squatters hijacking. And in the meanwhile they put simple www forwarders to their landing pages on warp/bleep. PS: the https versions do not work.
