I said this in the avatar thread, but I'd had the cute little rock with a face carved into it from the Reach For the Dead music video since the day that video premiered. For years, I've had a conspiracy theory that BOC was waiting for me to change the avatar before they dropped new music (hey, at this point, that theory is one of the mildest ones on the forum), so I changed it.
I don't know if your being serious about your avatar or not, But I often wonder if there is something we need to do or say.. Or something to unlock to bring forth new music. I really don't understand why I think that, It makes no sense

I often think this too. I remember it took fans a really long time to notice that Radiohead's In Rainbows sonically connected to OK Computer and Thom Yorke seemed surprised that it took fans so long.
But, there's nothing. BOC doesn't even have a website anymore. It's Warp, Bleep, Bandcamp, streaming, and the socials. Nothing to be found anywhere.
It's a shame really. Their obscurity was one of the reasons I fell in love with BoC.. I blame warp. I think they probably regret that record deal. I think they have little say in what goes on, Besides the music itself
Hundredth Monkey Effect: This is a hypothetical phenomenon where an idea or behavior spreads rapidly among a population once a critical number of individuals adopt it, seemingly through some unexplained, possibly psychic means. Quite honestly the lack of patience we see here so often is astounding.. And to be honest doing some monkey research may be a much more fruitful persuit.

At the very least, they are waiting for things to unfold like they did in 2013. I don't expect much if any personal involvement, but I assume they want to sit front seat and enjoy the show again.

Probably so they could easily claim royalties on uploads that are labeled like that.
