Create a fake

Post by Cupz »

Ever thought it would be fun to make a fake?
Let your imagination go free ,and create your own fake BoC project!

-Album Art
-Posters
-Records
-Old-stuff songs (by creating your own or renaming tracks)
-....
....you name it!

Post it here and admit its fake!
Throw away your smartphone.

I'm gonna enjoy this. 8) Maybe I'll cook something up myself....

I'm to tired to make fake BoC stuff. I will do it another time when I have nothing better to do. Perhaps tomorrow.

Put this together in 30 minutes or so:

Circle (Hooper Bay) - 2:38

Not perfect, but it's good enough for me.

Hah. Did you just time stretch the original or did you add a couple extra sounds in there?

I completely redid it from scratch in Reason, actually! I didn't sample the extract, I just based my notes on it and then improvised some stuff for the remaining part of the song.

I'm currently uploading an updated version with just a tiny hint of stereoness added, because I feel like I'm wasting the second channel. (EDIT: and done. you probably won't notice the difference.)

I personally love this idea. Instead of throwing up our boc battle axes and fending this shit off we might as well just lay our weapons down and jump in for some fabricated fun.

If you're going to make a fake track, please clearly label it as FAKE. It's inevitable that one of these tracks will escape from the forum out into the real world and pretty soon we'll get a post from some new user say "OMG LOOK WHAT I FOUND".

So please make it clear from the filename/id3 tags/etc that it's not really BoC to avoid muddying the waters further. Thanks.

I've taken this down, because i was just in live, made a few tweaks and realised that it could be much better... Maybe I'll post a new version later.
