Re: GENERAL NEW RELEASE SPECULATION TOPIC PART II
Here's some GPT chatter I picked up..
Sorry..
Telegraphy Hack: A Solstice Surprise
On a June afternoon in 1903, coinciding with the time of the summer solstice, a significant event unfolded at London's Royal Institution. Physicist John Ambrose Fleming was preparing to demonstrate Guglielmo Marconi's groundbreaking long-range wireless telegraphy system. The plan was to receive Morse code messages sent from Marconi's station in Poldhu, Cornwall, approximately 300 miles away.
However, before the demonstration could commence, the apparatus in the lecture theatre unexpectedly began emitting Morse code signals. Initially, it repeatedly spelled out the word "Rats", and then transitioned into a mocking poem accusing Marconi of deceiving the public. This unexpected transmission was the work of Nevil Maskelyne, a British magician and wireless technology enthusiast. Maskelyne had set up his own transmitter nearby to intercept and disrupt the demonstration, aiming to expose vulnerabilities in Marconi's system and challenge his claims of secure communication.
---
Decoding the Connection
Morse Code: Central to the event, as both the medium of the intended demonstration and the tool used by Maskelyne to execute his prank.
"Nobody home": While not the literal message sent, the phrase encapsulates the essence of Maskelyne's interruption—highlighting the absence of secure communication and the system's susceptibility to interference.
Summer Solstice: The event's timing in late June aligns with the period of the summer solstice, symbolizing a moment of enlightenment and revelation, much like the exposure of flaws in Marconi's technology.
---
This incident stands as one of the earliest examples of wireless hacking, illustrating the challenges of securing emerging communication technologies. The convergence of these elements—Morse code, the metaphorical "nobody home," and the summer solstice—creates a compelling narrative of technological vulnerability unveiled during a time traditionally associated with illumination and clarity.

Re: GENERAL NEW RELEASE SPECULATION TOPIC PART II
i think it is quite literally meant to be taken as "nobody home" i don't think there are hidden anagrams or messages there yet... clearly this will unfold in due time but "nobody home" seems to be all we have right now

Really don't see why they would bother telling us - there's nothing to see here.
They literally never tell us anything directly.. And then they go and tell us not to bother visiting a Web page cause there's nothing there? Nahhhh

Re: GENERAL NEW RELEASE SPECULATION TOPIC PART II
i sort of see it as a "stay tuned, something is imminent" thing. the official kick off of their next album rollout

Wow. I wouldn't be surprised if this is it.luminousdusk wrote:Home by noon - An anagram of Nobody home.
Noon of this year? As in.. Midway through the year. Noon is 12. Mid summer is June 21.
I'll put a bet on for a mid summer release/announcement.

Yeah. If only there was an extra 'n' and no 'd' in 'nobody'.carson_s wrote:Wow. I wouldn't be surprised if this is it.luminousdusk wrote:Home by noon - An anagram of Nobody home.

Hey man sometimes you need to cut corners to get the result your bias is looking for
Re: GENERAL NEW RELEASE SPECULATION TOPIC PART II
It's an anagram of Hood Boney M. Maybe their next release is going to be hell interface remixing Ra Ra Rasputin

This is where I'm at. I believe that if something was NOT on the horizon, they wouldn't have bothered. I don't know if there is anything significant at that site (at first I thought there was) but the point might be to tell us to not look for anything new THERE.

So, if you take the ASCII values (https://www.asciitable.com) for the characters / - and . and turn them into MIDI note values (https://computermusicresource.com/midikeys.html) you get…
- 45 a
. 46 a#1
/ 47 b1
…which makes the morse code for NOBODY HOME into this sequence of notes…
b1, b1, b1, (rest), a1, a#1, (rest), a1, a1, a1, (rest), a1, a#1, a#1, a#1, (rest), a1, a1, a1, (rest), a1, a#1, a#1, (rest), a1, a#1, a1, a1, (rest), b1, (rest), a#1, a#1, a#1, a#1, (rest), a1, a1, a1, (rest), a1, a1, (rest), a#1, (rest), a#1, a1, a#1, a1, a#1, a1, (rest), a#1, a1, a#1, a1, a#1, a1, (rest), a#1, a1, a#1, a1, a#1, a1, (rest)
Which is a bit hypnotic when repeated. (Notes here, https://www.songscription.ai/transcribe ... fa323b193f.) Sounds good on a bass through a reverb, though. Yes, I was bored.

Nobody Home suggests Zen Buddhism to me.

That's the spirit. I honestly feel like their is a need amongst some to stifle the imaginations of others. To kill their hopes and dreams as soon as anything happens.
Re: GENERAL NEW RELEASE SPECULATION TOPIC PART II
Anybody else think they're broadcasting on some ham frequency over continuous wave? Nobody's home often means someone's presence is out there but nobody is responding.

That would be fun. Had a quick scan through and lots of various stations broadcasting Morse. Decoded a couple into letters and found nothing that makes sense to me.mikemey01 wrote:Anybody else think they're broadcasting on some ham frequency over continuous wave? 'nobody home' is also an anagram of 'beyond homo' so i don't know what to make of that.luminousdusk wrote:Home by noon - An anagram of Nobody home.
