FYI: for the past 9 years before the "nobody home" change, error 522 ("gateway timeout") was what was displaying interchangeably with a 404 occasionally (presumably when they had the server for the site running, without the actual site's resource up?) on the website

We'll probably know in the next couple of days as to whether this is intentional marketing or if BOC got mad that we all thought it was a new record and told WARP to pull the website.

Honestly, either outcome excites me.

I’m betting on intentional, BoC have always been very in control of their online presence. There’s no reason for Warp to pull a stunt like that without a good reason, and we got a couple more likes at around the same time. Their online activity has been slowly becoming more consistent since last year, and we’ve been seeing bursts of activity quite a bit this spring. I think they’re establishing a more solid way to reach the fans, then maybe we’ll see something more concrete. That’s just my opinion though.

The only new Warp releases in the pipeline are: a Mount Kimbie digital-only live album and a Nightmares On Wax remix EP, neither of which (no disrespect to the artists) will particularly generate mass hype. The runway is certainly clear for something major.
