Hi gang, I used to post on here many years ago under the name Numerator but I got locked out of that account. 29 now and I've adored BoC since I was 12 years old. Recently got obsessed with them again. Wishful thinking perhaps but I have a feeling that 2025 could be our year...

Hello there.
My name is Alex Rollins Berg, a filmmaker in NYC and longtime Boards of Canada fan. I directed the Jacquard Causeway video linked below - perhaps you've seen it. With all the murmurs of a new album, I just wanted to say: It would be an absolute dream to craft an official Boards of Canada music video. Just putting that out there… into the ether... in case anyone is listening.

Welcome! And oh yes I do remember this fine video. One of my favourite BoC songs too. Great work on this one!

Dude, that is hands down my favorite music video! Even if it’s a fan made video, it feels like an official one to me. I still get chills every time I watch it. I showed it to my dad who showed me loads of Pink Floyd material growing up and he loved it as well, he said it fit the times perfectly….
Favorite song too. Very cool and happy to see you swing by here. I have loads of questions! Cheers!

Hey, I'm Bakartridge (or just Baka for short), I'm 22 and been a fan of BoC since I was like 15, Music Has The Right to Children has been one of my favorite albums for a long time, and had an interest in forums as of recent, so figured I'd join this one since it's BoC focused
Yeah, that's right

Hey everyone!

I recently joined here as, despite being something of an obsessive fan, owning a fair amount of BOCs material on vinyl, and losing their shit over the Societas x Tape mix announcement...I've never joined here.

26, living in Scotland. Percussionist, knob twiddler, amateur guitarist, a lot of things. I remember discovering Boards of Canada alongside Aphex Twin and the rest of the WARP family in about 2014/2015. My personal favorite album is Geogaddi, I've listened to it far too many times for me to count. The very first time I ever got stoned was to Boards of Canada, so there's that.

Gonna be checking this site frequently for the (hopefully eventual) announcement of LP5, with baited breath.

“Nobody understands my music” lmao
You’re always on a war with yourself, you’re just used to it.

Hi, Eelco here from The Netherlands (middle part of it in the forest), 39 years old, married and father. Decided to register after a long while to connect with some partially likeminded people that know some good stuff ;-).

By coincidence connected with Aesthetics/Robin long ago, think it was via soulseek at first (and after writing eachother I promoted the OoT series on a Dutch website). Also coincidentally connected shortly with Fredd-E at and after a gig by Ae in Brussels in 2014 which he whore a BoC shirt too :D. Lurked here from time to time and also on the bocpages of course.

Some music i like beside BOC: My Bloody Valentine, Autechre, Celer, Casino versus Japan, Bola, Can, Harmonia, Kraftwerk, Stars of the Lid, William Basinski, Tim Hecker, Juan Atkins, Carl Craig, The Pixies, Nick Drake, Joni Mitchell and Shuttle358.

If you want to see a picture of me, just put one on my bandcamp:

Will post some stuff here and there from time to time. Any questions based on the above? let me know :D

Hey all, had an account on here a couple years ago but lost it (wasn't that active anyways). Currently a college student who found BOC in an electronic music phase of the past, I've largely moved on but BOC has still captivated me. Recently have been on a huge AFOT/OTV2/R35TT phase, I Will Get It Tattooed, Finity, Rodox Video, Staircase Whip and B04 have all been in heavy rotation as of late.

Very glad to be here!

Hello, I'm a BOC fan from California. I've been a lurker of this forum for a long while and have now decided to make an account. I hope to contribute what I can to the community and join in on both the enthusiasm and pessimism that this community radiates sometimes.

Hello everyone :-) been listening to BoC since around the turn of the millennium, and with the recent activity I got an itch to discuss their nostalgic sound with people again <3

About me: I’m a techno producer and musicologist. For the latter I’m currently writing a PhD thesis about how electronic music production changes how we should understand a composer. Outside of that I’m living in Copenhagen with my girlfriend and cat :-)

Looking forward to chatting with everyone

I think I had a account ages ago but I've forgotten the login info

Longtime BoC fan - ever since I got a promo for MHTRTC in 1998

I'm around the same age as the brothers & I've always lived here in Calgary, Canada - where the brothers lived for a few years as youngsters - unfortunately I didn't go to the same school as them in the late 70's / early 80's

Prospect of a new album is enough to bring me here. Feel like I missed all the lead up to Tomorrow's Harvest cos life was too busy. Hoping this time around I have more bandwidth. Been listening since mid-90s.
