Oi, don't be a wet blanket. I for one think this is pretty neat. Reminds me of "Dookie Demastered", where a group put each track on Green Day's Dookie onto a piece of outdated hardware (e.g., a Teddy Ruxpin, a Tooth Tunes, and yes, even a wax cylinder). Pointless? Also, this guy in the general release theory thread said this:

Hey, Joe Lynch here. I volunteer at the Computer History Museum to help demo the PDP-1, and Olson felt like the perfect song to play on it. I transcribed it with Peter Samson's help, using his 1962 Harmony Compiler software.

In the off chance Mike and Marcus do ever come across it, there's an extra copy of Olson punched on vintage DEC PDP paper tape that they're more than welcome to have.

If this person is legit I'm sure the brothers would love that tape! Can it be proven this is legit, and if so, get mdg to take it like they did with the Joe Kittinger thing?
