The forecast calls for cloudy skies and a whole lot of nothing else.

Are we going to survive? Lol god. Go about your lives please.

I can't deal with the constant whining.

Maybe have a drink in darkness to the new Cure record or something.

You'll be okay.

Of course, I'll be okay, but it is healthy to have representation of all sides when it comes to democracy and voices. It may inconvenience some to hear, but in the spirit of the "Déclaration des droits de l'homme", I will speak as I feel, when I feel.

You don't quote anything in particular, do you Colin?
Where's this whining then?

People pop in this thread for a quick post and to draw some attention to something. Sure it would be right to say, and I'd even agree sometimes, that this thread appearing at the top of the sub-forum most days is a little repetitious, but it's also absolutely true that many other twoism threads are active and thriving at the moment.
Of course we are going to survive, I see no indication that we aren't. You can decide to not read this thread at any time. I have a once-over glance for new posts and that's it.

That's hilarious. I don't think there's one page of this thread without whining. Pardon me for choosing not to single people out.

Are we going to whine now about me whining about the whining?

Go ahead, attempt to defend the impatience and entitlement. LOL

Criticism is hard.

It's true, a select group of members has a tendency to see everything in a negative light these days. It's quite exhausting and also discourages light hearted people from posting here very often. It would be much nicer if they could transform their endless bitterness into something positive. Anything, really.

I’m excited about The Campfire Headphase’s 20th anniversary tomorrow! I bet BoC will drop a video on Instagram, just like they did for Twoism 30. Oh, and guess what? Warp already added the TCH CD to Bandcamp early this week. Replenishments inbound? Time to grab more copies?

I'm starting to think its you behind all of this. You've got to be on warps payroll. But anyway, somebody at least cares about us, this is nice. Have you gotten your boards of canada t-shirt yet? Get one now!

approximately? now there's something to speculate on.

Imagine if the grand reveal after all this time is that we've all been apart of the "Twoism Experiment". Maybe the data analysis software that was hosted on cosecha-transmisiones was to understand us.

I really understand that people would love more Boards of Canada albums ( who wouldn’t). I also understand that an admission of this projects end would give closure.
I’m not sure if a new album is on the way? I personally don’t think so. But I do feel that they would never give an official goodbye and thank you? Or perhaps they did at that award ceremony?

What a journey though eh? What an invite? What an amazing artistic salvation.

The world needs healing folks. I know I do. So I’m gonna work on my energy and not make demands on theirs. They might be exhausted after all that. So send them a private thank you yourselves.

Let's take a quick breather here, folks.

I know emotions run a bit high when speculation season drags on... we've all been there, hoping, doubting, joking. But when it starts turning personal or dismissive toward each other’s views, it stops being fun for everyone.

Please keep your tone respectful, even if you disagree or think someone’s being optimistic (or pessimistic).

I’ve removed a few posts for now. If things keep heading that way, I’ll temporarily lock the thread so we can all cool off a bit and get the focus back on what we’re all here for: our shared fascination with BoC.

Thanks for keeping the discussion healthy and the atmosphere in the spirit of Twoism.

They did not plan anything, they do not seem to be the planning type.
Additionally, numerology is quack.

However, do have a nice day. (Let it be known that patience paid in my case, Coroner released their first LP in 35 years this week, and it is exactly as it had to be, amazing.)
