R.I.P... I dont know this guy but there was a song released like 5 years ago called "James Brown is Dead". It's by L.A. Style.

You don't know James Brown? He's the godfather of soul and funk and after Kraftwerk maybe the most sampled artist ever in Rap, House and Techno. That record from L.A. Style is from the '90s when house and techno became mainstream.

was gutted when I heard. The man was a genuine pioneer and if it wasn't for JB a lot of the music we all love wouldn't exist.

Saw him live in London a few years ago and it was BRILLIANT. I must say though - I saw him interviewed on TV a couple of weeks before Christmas and he didn't look too good.
