After a year or so, I finally regained acces of my account, very nice.

So I just learned about the leaks, so if this person supposedly got the tapes off of Mike Paradinas, can we expect more hiqh quality leaks soon? Hearing 5.9.78 in this quality is something I've always wished for.

Please note that you are mixing two stories together.

The story of the tapes (boc maxima, afot, otv2), originally owned by Mike P, which were purchased by Twoism member Samamdj, ends at this point. Initially, Samamdj had created some light informative threads on Reddit, but they were all deleted after a few days. To our knowledge, no audio rips were made, let alone made publicly available.

Then we have babylulu's merry Christmas thread in which he shared “Some Old Tunes (1985-1996)” with us. This compilation is the source for HQ 5.9.78. He obtained these HQ old tunes from an anonymous source. But as confirmed several times by babylulu, there is no more available. The anonymous source also remains anonymous.

I wonder why the change of heart from the redditor which supplied us with these rips? Glad he decided to upload these in the end. Going to be a high quality treat listening again...

Unless they’ve gone full Brian Eno (‘Music for Public Information Films about Electricity Pylons’, ‘Music for Decoding Shortwave Radio in a Bunker’) I’m guaranteeing (via the power of my telepathic speculation) exactly 1 meticulously crafted hi-hat sound (featuring a satisfyingly snappy envelope and noise made of processed layers of tape hiss and vinyl crackle [and field recordings of the brothers stepping on branches during forest walks through various Canadian national park visits and treks through the neighbouring Scottish highlands]), 97 inner sleeve insert photos documenting the childhood influences that went into making that 1 sound, and of course 2 beanies for 2 brothers (a literal Twoism). Thus 1 + 97 + 2 = 1972 which is the specific era evoked by the hi-hat into which the listener will be emotionally transported. 1972 backwards is 2791 forming the release date 2027/9/1 being the date of release (9th of January) less than only a year away. All will be revealed (there may or may not be further music in addition to the 1 hi-hat on this legendary BOC release).

I guess there is still hope...

Coroner had 11,832 days between LP5 and LP6 (one of the greatest comebacks in documented human history)

also they had 5,235 days between their first reunion show and the release of LP6

So BoC is currently sitting at 4,626 days of flat lining...

I mean... it's not impossible that they do an epic return, but for one band like Coroner, you have thousands and thousands that will not make it. (no, I am not comparing Coroner and BoC, just an analogy)
