Wow, I never noticed it. A few halfsteps different - but it's identical!
Figured it out by accident. I wonder if this is the case with any other tracks.
Really? that was the first thing I noticed about this tune actually

I think BrunchTime mentioned in his podcasts, that this track has links to journalism. I was thinking, Sick Times... times, The Times ! The section after 'Thank you" with those cryptic voices to me may sound like tv news journalist or something like that. This track def. has very strong "cuckoo feeling", if we drown in to abyss at the end, there seems not possible to realize there's truth and there's false.

for me these are sounds of people reporting through the radio after nuclear/biological missile fall somewhere near them.

*chocking* "somethin-thing..." *chocking*.

and you may feel toxical fumes thorough the whole track. (since beginning)

So has anyone found anything about the muffeled voice in the background starting at the change at 0:45 and lasting until 2:15

It seems like a 6 second loop over and over. I can hear the rhythm of it repeating but can't make out what it is saying.

I had listened to the section over and over so many times trying to identify it that the cadence of it is kind of embedded into me, and something in the movie Scanners actually reminded me of it. I need to rematch to see if it matches up.

If anyone is good at isolating something like this please try

Note when the 'strings' come in at ~20sec they are accompanied by almost inaudible high pulsating frequencies that make one feel kind of disoriented/ sick. Better heard with headphones and they follow the strings/ drones. What else in the modern world creates these kinds of chronic frequencies and what effect do they have on you I would ask without being too suggestive.

I just noticed what seems to be a choir noise in the right ear at around 2:49-2:51.

Such an underrated track. Those piano keys is like [hard to descirbe] something like "ill man trying to play the melody, that he's want to put inside your head" playfull but somehow dark. But my favorite part is the ending, it's like you going in to abyss, you almost feel like it's over, but you are going even deeper and deeper. It's extremely psychedelic, if you listen to it before going to sleep. Sick Time - Collapse - Palace Posy best sequence on the enitre record.

Agreed. The miniature breakdown after the "thank you" with the record scratching sounds so gorgeous.

TH seems to be aging so well, to my ears at least.

Too soon?

Would be interesting to mix.
When this virus was first named and disseminated through media news, I started seeing good deals/discounts on Corona beer in the supermarkets, there is alot to be said about or contained in a name.
Corona and Korona both share etymological similarities. With many extended senses in botany, anatomy, etc. The two "crown" constellations, Corona Borealis (according to fable, the crown of Ariadne) and Corona Australis, are both Ptolemaic. Astronomical sense of "luminous circle observed around the sun during total eclipses" is from 1809

At 2:17, 2:26 and 2:35 I always thought the ring modulated voice said “Facebook” and then in response each time a demonic whisper says “Seek Harsh Light” as if describing insect like behaviour.
Adding further weight to this theory, I think the female voice, most clearly at 3:00 and 3:12 says “… I had a friend that liked… “.

Also in between each “Seek Harsh Light” and “Facebook” I think it says “This guy suddenly had a twist in it, but never disclosed it”.

No way I just heard "Hit-ler" in sick times ending, starts around 3:26 and is repeated untill the end, listen closesly to the right channel, a male voice. This is sick af lol. May be as well be ANYTHING else, but that what makes the most sense for me and for sure there's a short pause between the words or syllables. I used earphones. This album is sick with amount of the details that is barely meant to be heard.
