Seems odd considering some people in existence had to have attended, and known later 'oh crap that was the BOC I've now come to know' type stuff.
it's even odd have only one description for the Global Tendencies 99 show sandwiched between the three (well known) audience recorded shows including the ominous descriptor: 'and another track whose origin I do not know.'

In 96 I was the only person in my group of friends who was on the internet. Like it was such a rare thing back then that had almost no crossover with the world of 'people who go to electronic music gigs'. And weird hostility to it as well, I remember people in the party scene convinced that computers were the source of all evil basically. It probably didn't help that people who DID get it were stanning for it so hard they were doing all that "cyberpunk" stuff that if you were into it was cool, but from the outside looked dorky as hell.
Anyway, point im making is it only seems weird now that so little information got out. Back in the day, chances are maybe a handful of people in the audience ever ended up going on the net. Or if they are, they begrudgingly installed Facebook and wouldn't think to talk about gigs they saw anywhere we'd really find it
There might possibly have some audio or recollection of these events, but that's only conceptual. If security was as strict as it was for some of the other events, as well as how BOC was probably a lot more niche during that time, I doubt we'll ever get audio from these events.
If I'm wrong here I'm wrong. I have a memory of a really old review of, I think, the black dog album spanners. Which has short interstitial tracks between the main tracks called "Bolt #". And the review says "the bolts do the job of the Phils on " some other album, but I can't remember which.
I've always read this review like it's referring to that kind of thing, cos we know BoC do that. But I couldn't find either the review or the other album which has short tracks called "Phil #". I felt sure it was Bytes but it doesn't seem to be.
So I'm posting this here in case anyone knows what I'm on about
I recall there was an old thread where someone mentioned there were vocals on a track that one of these old shows had, and another that had a12 for R35. Both claims are on the forum but they'd be hard to dig for.
