1969 orange sunshine?

Post by shiven »

well i was listening to a talk by a guy named nick sands (here) who apparently was the lead producer of orange sunshine lsd in the late 60's early 70's. the phrase 1969 in the sunshine kept popping up in my head when i heard orange sunshine so i wondered if there was any connection.
so i did a quick google search on it and apparently their was a good size church community called "the brotherhood of eternal love" that was behind it all, and one of their highlight years for acid was 69.
i know its been long established their referring to the branch davidian sect in 1969 but does this seem to KInda~ fit also?
maybe, maybe not?

I don't believe anything's been firmly established with regards to what 1969 refers to, although of course the Branch Davidians is the leading suspect.

Interesting read about the Brotherhood of Eternal Love, although it doesn't seem that 69 was the single definitive year for them; if anything, '68 seems to be it more, with Leary's arrest. But it's possible...
