Something weird happened to me yesterday.
I viisited ncdsystems.com and wrote an email to the address limked in the webpage (I asked to send me a VHS tape lol). Well, since the last night the site has been changed, now it is no longer showing the mail address (1700 Fribourg, Switzerland), but only the email sysops@ncdsystems.com. Also the website graphic has been changed.
Got no response in my personal email though.

Oh God New Clear Dawn is still a thing? I remember that. I recall mdg saying it had nothing to do with the band and the speculation was terminated? What the hell is it? Obviously the theme of ”nuclear dawn” ended up being relevant to TH

Up to 28 reported tapes now. Maybe there were something like 50 of them? Not everyone will report, some might get lost due to address changes, others genuinely just won't recognise it as being Boards of Canada related, etc...

That's too quick of a conclusion to draw imo. How was the person behind the channel so quick to upload what seems to be a more high-res clip in colour of the moving mycelium which flashes by in the VHS footage?

With all of this happening, and the stuff that is actually on the tape, I'm kinda wondering.

A short while ago all the old tunes were leaked in proper quality, I don't think this would have happened without the permission of the band, because it was Mike Paradinas tape. With the stuff on the tape, religious theme, Koresh + The Branch Davidians, of which many samples were found in IABPOITC/Geogaddi, if this might just be a clearing out of the back catalogue. They reportedly record around 200 songs for each album, maybe they have polished up some of that stuff, and we get some of those polished up songs.

Probably pretty far fetched, but they really seem to go back to that era with this tape. Still hoping for new material, but to hear some of those songs that never made albums would be pretty sick as well.

There’s a reference to a passage in the bible on the VHS. Something about sorting out the wheat from the chaff, and keeping the wheat.
That aligns pretty closely to what you’re saying. Maybe they did finally get around to sorting out their unreleased and early material?
With regards to the early tunes tapes, I did think at the time that Mike Paradinas, as a musician and label owner, wouldn’t have sold those tapes without permission, because there’s an ethical issue. Didn’t they list them on ebay, then de-list them and sold them offline? Not quite suspicious, but not quite convincing…

Someone pointed out on reddit that the [HAMAD] account on Youtube that posted this: surprisingly quickly after the tape came out also posted this video 4 years ago: with the title "BOC" (with sun and flower emojis, which I can't post here).

And the two "WARC" tracks from the Warp Selections playlist (on streamers) are titled Warp Selections [FLOWER EMOJI] and Warp Selections [SUN EMOJI]

Could that be co-incidence?

Maybe just a coincidence but there’s a connection to recent world events. Sunflowers are the national flower of Ukraine. A while back during the current Russian invasion of Ukraine, a story was widely publicized about a Ukrainian woman approaching a Russian soldier, giving him sunflower seeds, and telling him to keep them in his pocket “so something will grow on Ukrainian soil when you die.”

Hows the hunt going? Maybe we'll get a tip soon. Its going to be harder to decern what is real and what isn't soon with all those news articles that went out. Kids will be kids. I still think the tapes are the ticket, and you'll probably have to bring them / do something with them in exchange for a real ticket. Thats implying this listening party is real at all, they'll need a rough estimate of at least who IS coming. They'll probably assume everyone with a tape will come.

Remember, Geopolitical situations are not that great right now. You have to take into account they might decide to do this all digitally this time around and there is going to be no physical release/listening party. They might god forbid even try to do this in VR. I hope for one they don't do this and do in fact give us more than just a stream to watch.

I mean, we have evidence of them playing around with websites last year but have no evidence of a listening party. So decide what you like.

I'm inclined to think this as well. I know new music is the priority for most around here, but I would be so grateful to see the early material released in good quality. Whatever happens, the band is active and that is great news for us all.

Is that Alex Jones on one of the images on the VHS? I used to listen to his shows quite often and some of the advertisements he played were accompanied by some pretty decent music. I often wondered if the bros had made something for him?

There was one ad on his show that kept repeating that we had crossed the rubicon. I think it was just to promote infowars. I’d love to be able to find it.

I used to listen to the show whilst sleeping and about 5 years ago woke up to him talking over some of my own music. But once I became fully awake it stopped. I don’t know if it was a dream or I imagined it or what?

There's one unique track, the ident, (titled 'Warp: Warp Selections') on Warp's recent BoC-themed playlist Vernal Equinox.
Incidentally, the playlist's image is similar to a clip of the sun in the VHS.

Anyway, the unique track has an image, pasted below.
