Its very bold in colours while looking like experimentation in super8 or something like it.

All of the hoax fears seem so wild to me. The fact that select BOC fans who bought stuff on Bleep in the last year had tapes delivered by a distro company where its known they have worked with Warp in the past... and posters hung in a major metro city around the same time, with a fresh aesthetic that also matches the tapes' vibe. Also, I'd love to see some hoaxers try to print out big ole posters... Its just so far-fetched that its a hoax... Has there ever been a hoax by fans that matched even 1/10 the level of sophistication? No. there have been some people who have aped their style in short tracks on soundcloud. This is the real deal, y'all! :)

LP5 might have a slasher movie soundtrack vibe if these posters prove to be real.

Good lord, these posters... I honestly hope these aren't really band approved images, cuz frankly I don't think they look nice and the aesthetic just seems all wrong to me

The color palette just screams Neil Krug for me.

I think they rule. What some see as blood, I see as chemical burns and stains from old films and prints. Also, does anyone remember what the inside images of TCH looked like? Essentially the same effects, but vivid warm colors now vs cool... The eyes, on the other hand? A new direction! I wouldn't want them retreading... I am all for it!

Now confirmed to be the real thing. The coffee stuff is as expected completely unrelated, though folks including that in their theories was pretty funny.

Not saying there's a direct visual correlation here, but they give me Berberian Sound Studio vibes.

I dig them. Very keen for a fucked up BoC album.

EDIT: Oh, I see, a new london joint called Farmer J! I guess everyone there already knows the logo/shop well enough to not put any other info on it! :D

Where have people been able to find the coffee logo/company anywhere else? I havent been able to find anything yet. It does seem to be pasted up at the same time. I do a lot of HQ printing and I'd bet that they were printed on the same machines and pasted up by the same people. I do know that sometimes freelance services exist for putting up posters for different orgs, so maybe that is the case, but with no other info on the poster, like a name of a company, etc, seems weird!

A short while ago all the old tunes were leaked in proper quality, I don't think this would have happened without the permission of the band, because it was Mike Paradinas tape. With the stuff on the tape, religious theme, Koresh + The Branch Davidians, of which many samples were found in IABPOITC/Geogaddi, if this might just be a clearing out of the back catalogue. They reportedly record around 200 songs for each album, maybe they have polished up some of that stuff, and we get some of those polished up songs.

Probably pretty far fetched, but they really seem to go back to that era with this tape. Still hoping for new material, but to hear some of those songs that never made albums would be pretty sick as well.

End of ramble.
There’s a reference to a passage in the bible on the VHS. Something about sorting out the wheat from the chaff, and keeping the wheat.
That aligns pretty closely to what you’re saying. Maybe they did finally get around to sorting out their unreleased and early material?
With regards to the early tunes tapes, I did think at the time that Mike Paradinas, as a musician and label owner, wouldn’t have sold those tapes without permission, because there’s an ethical issue. Didn’t they list them on ebay, then de-list them and sold them offline? Not quite suspicious, but not quite convincing…
Didn’t seem like a bible passage to me, seemed more like the date on the side of a home video, St. Luke’s being a location and the date being cutoff (3-17-1xxx).

The coffee ad logo is the same as for Farmer J, which is a newish London salad bar chain.

exactly!!! I always loved that effect. They do seem to be going in a cold direction and its interesting. The tape is very cold too. The eyes of the children don’t seem that new it just seems a bit different. Play by numbers and hooper bay…

I'm pretty sure we're seeing 4 BOC posters along the bottom, then on top 3 posters for a coffee shop and one for the Rolling Stones. So 8 in all but only 4 BOC related.

I was wrong! Yeah, it is Alex Jones! What the heck! I didn't think it would happen, but it happened! Haha It is young alex jones though, he was a bit of a different beast to what is now. Before the frogs were gay...

Also, I feel like Vito right now waiting for new stuff to happen... hahah

it's not Alex Jones.
Yeah for real. Doesn’t look remotely similar to the image posted on Reddit other than dark glasses. As others have pointed out, it far more resembles the images of ATF agents at the Waco siege, or FBI agents at the Ruby Ridge standoff. Someone else pointed out it kind of looks like a gun or a radio being held up. Im sure someone will locate the correct source for the video (unless it is original content) in due time, but this bizarre Alex Jones thing is definitely going to make that harder haha.

I would agree with a previous comment as well that including Alex Jones would be ridiculous in a bad way. Guy just got (rightly) sued into oblivion for defamation.

As others have said, whether there is a bible verse referenced is debatable, as the 3 and 17 looks like the first part of a date: “3-17-1xxx”

Also I think only the bottom posters would be relevant. When posters are plastered up like this, sometimes many different ads are plastered together (as happens with concert/tour posters).

Another Neil Krug music video incoming? Reach For The Dead certainly had some "epic" vibes but it wasn't some crazy ambitious project. Perhaps The Brothers™ weren't keen on something like that. I wonder if anything has changed? Imagine an official BoC vid that plays like a short horror flick with some pupilless children roaming about lol
