All of this very interesting and I am curious to see where it leads. Its apparent something is cooking...guess we will have to wait and see what that something is. We've waited this long...so hopefully we are close to a new release.

The posters seem to polarizing from a legitimacy standpoint and design choice.

I'm really feeling a spooky, geogaddi-esque vibe to new material, but perhaps even a bit more densly-natured, like some parts in the track Collapse, if that's what's coming. I'm also just projecting cuz that's what I want to hear lol. It'd nice to have some nature components in it as well. Either way I'm super excited!!

The posters also have the same aesthetic as the sleeve art for the 2014 remaster/reissue of Hi Scores. Just my observation. And surfacing from many years of silent (but always hopeful) lurking.

The VHS footage + posters feel thematically quite dark – if that’s any indication of what the album will be like, I’m all for it.

It mentioned a bonus set for one of the stages. I doubt its them but I think we as a community are searching for anything that could possible relate to BOC so it wouldn't hurt to watch

It would honestly be so fucking funny to just see Marcus and Mike pop up randomly and do this. But I don't think that will happen. I just think maybe some more posters and possibly more promo stuff? I dont think Warp are at the event though, but it does seem like the perfect opportunity...

Thanks for the heads up for Coachella. Devo will play soon, Mojave stage. They've shown some love for them especially after Bob passed. Great show either way. So many good opportunities for a reveal this weekend. If they don't then everyone who saw the tape dies righ?

Was wondering why they had to use seven  hexagons, instead of the one, when that's all they had to display at the festival where they premiered Cold Earth. Such a cool moment. Seems to line up with a seven day theory. Or a reference to a collective of some sort..

Hoping for a return to geogaddi, and maybe a premiere in a church. Seems like a more sinister take on religion or it's more manipulative aspects could be a theme. Or the bocalypse portended in the mushroom cloud logo? Announcing on a Sunday would be interesting. ChiRo is sometimes seen flanked by Alpha and Omega but not this time. Because they already went there? Lots of parallels between releases..

Never saw The Ring (2002?) isn't there a kid with creepy whited out eyes in the sequel? Not sure it's worth it to watch those movies..

Also, looking into AFX' Collapse poster appearances, it seemed to take about a week before the announcement. Expecting more imagery. This could build to an exciting peak over the next few days. Meow.

Imo it feels more like “horror-core” vibes rather than some overtly self-indulgent religious stuff… I know the occult and cults and what that entails fascinates them, but judging by societasx and Filmaker material they are fond of… it seems more like an artistic styling choice like morbid horror humor. Like the Whitney Houston stuff…. to me it’s just thematic film fun… again just speculating, and who knows maybe you’re right, but I am skeptical of the notion they are actually religious
