GENERAL NEW RELEASE SPECULATION TOPIC PART II

One thing that I find curious are the poster anomalies. All the posters were put up in sets of four, with the same order, except the last two. In Hollywood, it only had poster one and poster two (the last two in the set were missing). In Soho, it was a duplicate set of poster four (with the first three missing). Poster three was absent from both.

There may be something in this (given their penchant for data, numbers, and anomalies). Or it could be human error, or lack of poster space, time, or whatever.

Curious though.

Hello all. Long time listener, first time caller.

I think I am starting to join the “there is no ARG, only a rollout and a nod to fans” camp. Still early days (it’s only been a week) so I admit I could be wrong, but I think an ARG element would’ve been a little more obvious by now given all we’ve been combing through thus far. I hope I get to eat my hat and someone cracks something super deep, but I’m doubtful.
And really who knows.. maybe we’ll get a huge new piece of info to chase down, or maybe we’ll just get a release date.

Either way, this past week has been so exciting! I’ve been rinsing the discography front to back. I’ll be making my BoClimage to the NYC LES posters after work tomorrow, and I’m super grateful for that opportunity. So, so so so sick.

yeah looks like partial sets here on the lower east side but some politician was already posting over them so its hard to tell.

tired of numbers anyway and just need to let it play out. its enough that its happening.

It might have been mentioned before but what about this single event so far where a VHS has the text "????" With emoticon for thank you/please/pray (See: https://bocpages.org/wiki/File:VHS-Tape ... ns-01.jpeg)
Looks like an ARG element to me.

Looking at Stereolab's marketing campaign for their similar long-awaited album last year, this seems to follow in its footsteps.

HI there, I posted a rambling message on reddit last night, and got banned... but I've discovered the posters are like a massive jigsaw, with all the pictures having a detail which (after changing opacity and size) matches that of another poster. I started by really zooming in on the posters, and tracing out the patterns of triangular lines, this made it easier to overlay them accurately. It's a geometric puzzle. I was challenged to post pics (screenshots from affinity) which I did. Anyway, this is the solution, reddit can get to fuck. Good luck.

The Reddit mods have zero chill, obviously the fan base will be going wild over this! It’s like they hate to see people enjoying themselves.

haha I have been on reddit for over 10 years, the one time I post on something really important, they ban me! Anyway, please just zoom in on the posters, trace out the triangle shapes, and then just rotate them to match each other, overlay them by reducing the opacity. The four posters are the first 4 pictures that go together, and then the 5 missing images from (I think the PAL video) on top of them. Then you can start adding the other (12?) images taken from the video.

I think I see what happened here - the designer (Neil Krug) has used the same weathering pattern on each image, it will be like set of brushes or an overlay texture that he’s reused on the photoshop file. Kinda lazy actually, especially when you know the fan base will be going over it with a fine tooth comb! Probably means nothing , but you never know!

no that's not it. It is deliberate, and a trail. All the pictures fit.
