If we're all using Instragram, Whatsapp, Google services, and any kind of web or AI tools, then leaving an email to BoC/Warp via Klaviyo would be a relatively small privacy trade-off in comparison.

Hey, sorry to be the bearer of some kind of weird news. But, I was poking around in the boards of canada website and I was focusing on this platform called "klaviyo" they are using as its what is actually holding all of our email addresses. I.. might have broke it? You know, maybe done a few things and now my profile is all wonky but anyway, just wanted to point out that its an AI Marketing/Platform company they are using. https://www.klaviyo.com/uk/ Thats where the email is going to, not sure if I am okay with this. I did not realise. I don't like supporting stuff with AI in it. Maybe think twice before giving your email address...

Klaviyo is a standard marketing and automated mailing service used by shopify, wix and probably also Ochre. So chances are this is just the standard service that bleep or warp uses for promotional mailing. Wiich is not something chosen be BOC themselves, and i doubt they are even involved with upkeeping their website. Klaviyo is also proposing AI services mostly because everyone has to do AI these days, à la dotcom bubble. That doesn't mean that BOC or Warp is using AI.

A lot of you are missing the point. If it was simply an newsletter, why all the rest? I want to specifcally point out that Klaviyo is used to make AI Agents! As in, your email could for instance email to you... This is extremely boards of canada. This isn't supposed to be a moment to point out and shame boc for using AI or what ever. You are the ones with little faith by trying to say all this is a pyramid scheme, like the brothers would something so cheap? There might be an ARG here.... Its just cool and very interesting they have all this set up, it can take way more than an email and do a lot more than they are using it for right now. So I wonder if there is more to the website than just a newsletter. Newsletters are stupidly simple to code. This would tie back to the idea of there being some sort of ticket event which was speculated before. Why would they need such extreme tools? Obviously some kind of seletion process is going on. The email you entered will probably be tied to other profiles else where by their AI system. This is a speculation thread, speculate on why so much tracking is going down!

BOC are such a tease, but I'm doing my part as well, to myself, on purpose, all to plan. In this order, I listened to Tape 05 on my headphones, before watching video, next - alongside my partner, YouTube on tv, but with my eyes closed, receivingg bursts of light through my lids. Then the full video with the audio off. Next, I watched YouTuber ixi's reaction to the song, again with audio muted, When listening before watching, I was sensing a subterranean escape tunnel, turning a corner and seeing stairs, suddenly looking back upon hardships, being invited to the future, reuniting with your self.

Interesting idea. Maybe for exclusive content or even a show (dreaming) lol Heck I would be as stoked for a live stream performance even, like Meat Beat did during Covid, instead of a full blown tour or live event… just wishful thoughts

Regarding live performances, I would say I’ve always been somewhat curious, but seeing them live is not my biggest dream. I would rather watch a video of how they work; how carefully they edit each sound and decide where to place it.

Also, without live performances, it feels like listening on good audio equipment is meant to be the best way to experience their music. There is nothing above that, and we have access to it almost every day.

besides the symmetry you can divide the message in squares of 3x3. the 2nd , 4th and 6th square have the same shape. It is an X. (in other words every three vertical lines you see the same shape.
