I'm glad the red version didn't sell out in 20 minutes. It probably means they made around 10,000 copies. Instead of an extremely rare collector's item, it was made so the fans who are actually following the release can get one.

I don't care so much for a red vinyl, but I really want the booklet.

Same, I don't care about something being rare or limited, and I much prefer black vinyl to gimmicky colour ones, but the extra booklet is the only reason I went for that version

Waterbagel! It has been a minute. I love that your avatar still has a carrot in it. Honestly it has been so long I can't recall why that was a thing. Some forum inside joke. Welcome back!

Yo, if there are any listening parties along the west coast of the US I would be honored to hitch a ride! I honor the ass, gas, or grass policy!

8 - Acts of Magic - got no clue
9 - Memory Death - the cessation of personal, biological memories when the brain dies
10 - The Word Becomes Flesh - (John 1:14) is a foundational Christian doctrine known as the Incarnation, declaring that Jesus Christ is the divine Word (Logos) who took on human nature
11 - Into the Magic Land - got no clue
12 - Blood In The Labyrinth - Seems to be BoCustom Made
13 - Deep Time - the 4.5 billion-year, multi-million-year concept of Earth's history, highlighting the vastness of geological time compared to human existence
14 - All Reason Departs - My mind on this title
15 - Arena Americanada - means nothing
16 - The Process - could be any process
17 - You Retreat In Time And Space - A lovely title
18 - I Saw Through Platonia - Platonia insignis is a species of tree, or the website of a physicist. http://www.platonia.com/
Some additional thoughts to add here:

Track 12: Possible/partial reference to inner ear anatomy, specifically the blood-labyrinth barrier (medical acronym is BLB).
The blood-labyrinth barrier (BLB) is a highly selective physiological, anatomical, and metabolic barrier separating the blood circulation from the inner ear fluids (endolymph and perilymph). Located primarily in the stria vascularis, it maintains ionic homeostasis, crucial for hearing, by preventing toxic substances from entering the cochlea while allowing nutrient passage.

Track 15: "Americanada" is a colloquial term with a fairly specific meaning.
"Americanada" is a Spanish noun, often used with a derogatory or colloquial connotation, referring to something typically American, a stereotypical action, or a film characteristic of the United States. It describes behaviors or items that represent American culture, often in a judgmental or critical way, such as dismissing holidays like Halloween.

Definition: "Typically American thing" or "typically American thing to do".
Usage: Often used in Spain to criticize, mock, or describe cultural imports from the U.S. (e.g., "That movie is a total americanada").
Context: It can refer to films, behaviors, or cultural habits viewed as excessive, superficial, or distinctly American.

I pre-ordered the red vinyl. I can't wait to hear the album, of course, but I also want to read the interviews. What have the brothers been up to all these years?

Are we thinking they drop a single before release?

They have a video directed by Robert Beatty on the way, according to the image posted here earlier. This could be this album’s 'Reach for the Dead'.

I questioned whether the Tape 05 music was going to be on the album because the video felt so complete in itself, but with the images from the album art, and the new video with Introit, I’m starting to see how Tape 05 harmonizes with everything else. The new arrangement of hexagons is the through-line.

As far as “The Process” goes, my mind immediately goes to Skinny Puppy’s record of the same name which was a reference to the Process Church of Final Judgment

Second album on a row of them using Spanish words, and as a Spanish speaker it's very weird for me to see that, I didn't really understood why they used it on TH. I assume there is a reason though, I just don't know what.

If someone knows, let me know. Is the "continuous mix" really exclusive to Bleep.com? Presumed so? I've emailed WARP but expect they'll be a few days responding. I bought a CD from bandcamp through boardsofcanada.com when bleep was frozen. My purchase says it's "fulfilled by WARP" + "plus a high-quality download in MP3, FLAC and more"... At Bleep, the digital bundle is called "Inferno (Continuous Mix) WAV (24-bit) -->Bleep exclusive<-- album mix digital product." That's what I want, if there's a difference. I already cancelled one purchase so that I could shop directly from WARP (I thought), on the chance there'd be any surprises included by the label. I'll report back if WARP responds. All knowledge and informed guesses welcome.

Am I dumb for only going for the CD? Am I stupid? For not going vinyl?

I always buy CD, I just like CD.

Also I hope the Small size t-shirts fit.

I'm 100% confident the CD will be identical at 70 minutes like the continuous mix. It's probably just because the track lengths round down to the nearest whole second, losing the extra milliseconds that are going to add up to the missing 9 seconds.
