idk the info feels a little iffy. from https://bocpages.org/wiki/Somewhere_Rig ... The_Future
Pairs with "You Retreat In Time And Space" and "I Saw Through Platonia" as the album's trio of time-transcendence titles — all three dismantling the listener's ordinary sense of duration.
There's more obvious time transcendence track titles. "dismantling the listener's ordinary sense of duration" sounds AI generated to me.
I will write for bocpages as a volunteer if it means removing the dreaded AI writing voice on the site.

Oh wow, that's pretty comprehensive already! Brilliant stuff.
I'm actually really surprised by the level of detail already on BOC Pages. The way they're written seems to give the impression of more than "I researched the words of each title." It sounds like it was put together by someone who's listened to the album (and I'd hope AI wasn't involved in it as some folks are feeling).

It's interesting when you compare the approach with Geogaddi, where a lot of this stuff was rather hidden by comparison and fans dug up a lot of it. Here, it's all very much worn on the sleeve. It fits with the rollout of this one, too, really. What do folks think about this?

I just remembered The Process was the magazine for the Process Church of the Final Judgement. The magazine would have been available by subscription. They use a symbol similar to the one in the video.

I thought the em dashes were obvious enough. I rewrote large parts of the article, since most of it was AI-generated by one editor (not Fredd). Especially in the "Themes" section it hallucinated nonsense or drew insane parallels. All the individual track pages are still full of AI-generated text.

I think the 1420MHz name in track 2 isn't referring to the Wow signal, I think it's more to do with the connection with hydrogen.: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hydrogen_line (especially considering the title of the track after it).

The Wow signal was found when they were searching 1420MHz for activity, and they chose to search that frequency because it's naturally associated with hydrogen.

The more I read the themes of the tracks the more I picked up on exactly as you describe, "hallucinated nonsense or insane parallels."

Its one thing to use AI for clarification of what a word means or its origin....but not a fan of having it form opinions or fill in the blanks with nonsense. Thanks for cleaning some of that up.

Back on topic of speculation of song titles. Its always fascinating to finally listen to songs when you have had a month or so to let your imagination run wild on what you THINK they may sound like.

Yeah, now that I actually look closer, I can't miss it either. I was under the impression BOCPages had a bit stronger curation of information to avoid this?

Perhaps the first track, "Introit," is a tribute to the song "Introit" by French composer William Sheller, which is also the intro to his album "Lux aeterna"

For all my hip-hop fans, it's also the main sample from the masterpiece that is the album Deltron 3030, and more specifically, track 3030.

It is also a hymn used to open Catholic religious service.

Perhaps a double, triple tribute, who knows?
Tape 05 looks like track n°5 Father And Son of course

Good call! I was going to mention this, as well as the Skinny Puppy album "The Process" - whose title refers to this very cult.

Neat interpretation! Definitely seems to be telling a story - Although It's unclear why Age of Capricorn would be placed that early in the track list. Although time travel might very well be a theme of the album, as someone else suggested!

Titles for works that don't contain language -instrumental music, paintings- can really impact their effect. OR they can escape me completely. There are a lot of early BOC song titles that I still don't have down. In time, I'll make the associations. I think it would be funny to see how a total BOC newbie might assign 10 titles to 10 songs if they were given a scrambled list. All that said, I've already expressed how much I love the vibes of this album/teases/art & track titles!

I agree - This has to be referencing the Hydrogen bomb!

And after reading a bit about 'Deep Time,' This album seems to thematically tie into both Tomorrow's Harvest and Geogaddi.

For example, what Geogaddi track does this remind you of? Energy plan, and maybe 1 or 2 others?

'Deep time is the concept of geological time spanning billions of years, far exceeding human experience, to explain Earth's 4.6-billion-year evolution. Coined to describe the vast, slow-moving processes that shape the planet, this framework is essential for understanding geology, evolution, and climate science.

Development: The idea developed in the 18th century as scientific evidence for an ancient Earth overtook biblical timelines, popularised in the 20th century.

Applications: It provides the framework for understanding biological evolution, climate change, and even the "deep history" of human environmental impacts.

"Deep Time Thinking": Acknowledging this perspective helps humans understand their place in a long ecological continuum, encouraging long-term environmental ethics.

Resource Management: Understanding these time scales aids in identifying resources like fossil fuels and understanding environmental processes.'

Michael: "I'm fascinated by ideas like the holographic universe and Max Tegmark's "mathematical universe hypothesis". The latter, especially — the idea that time doesn't really exist, and the universe is just a superimposition of countless "now" moments, all stacked on top of each other. The older I get, the more I start to doubt whether what we experience is really what we think of as 'reality'."
"Nothing Is Real" probably referred these theories and so does "Somewhere Right Now In The Future"

All I know is there is a 1977 fictive and fake NASA mission to Mars called "Capricorn One", in the movie by the same name, nowadays a cultural cornerstone of US conspirationnism.

Notice that 1977 is the year Greenpeace UK acquired the "Rainbow Warrior" ship.
It then went to French polynesia to protest against nuclear testing in the ocean/atolls
(The Rainbow Warrior was sunk some years later by the secret service).

The Leviathan is often depicted as a sea creature.

Awesome (?) factoid: O.J. Simpson played in that movie.

It was extremely cheesy, I have not dared rewatch it to preserve the original aura of the story which to this then 8 year old space nerd was godawful wrong on every level.
