The urgency of this track makes it seem like Inferno is connected to global warming and other time bombs currently threatening an unsustainable civilization, it’s like a countdown that keeps getting more heated and panicky. If Aquarius is what the countdown used to sound like this is what it’s now

When that fly sound does that little pitch bend up and down I immediately thought of Geogaddi! My favorite part of that whole soundscape, fosho.

Assuming this is Introit, there isn’t another track like this on any of their albums. Even songs like Uritual are led by a clear melodic phrase. This one is all texture, unless you really dial into the quivering, steel string voice in the mix. I’m stunned... like Cupz said.

I think this teaser is, at least visually, the strongest thing yet. It feels quintessential Boards without being too obvious. I don't know how any fan can watch that and not be excited as a motherfucker.

Me too - I thought it sounded cool enough on my phone, but when I streamed it in the car I was pretty mindblown by that thumping bass that's hammering away in the background.

My imagination is going wild speculating on what the more beat-driven tracks will sound like!

The more I watch the teaser the more ominous it feels... loving the occult vibes and dying to see how this ties in with the temporal themes apparent from the tracklisting, and with the more uplifting/transcendent-sounding section of Tape 05/Father and Son (think that assumption seems pretty safe now).

Everything seems so much more cohesive now too - the campaign felt a bit disjointed to me at first when we just had the VHS and posters, but it's all starting to come together

Absolutely hyped to the hilt for this album.

I think there is a sound like flowing electricity around 15-18 seconds in...a bit like when an underground train rail or pylon delivers a load of sudden current...its right before the flies / bees sound

The first two images are a "sun" and a flower. These were exactly the emojis used by Hamad in the youtube video BOC. (now erased). That video was some years old, and more recently the symbols used for the Warp announcements in the playlist Equinox.
