Re: LP5 - Inferno
I also just realized that Inferno is almost an anagram for Bonfire, just missing the B and one n.

Re: LP5 - Inferno
Uhh… we know it includes Father and Son but are they implying it’s Tape 05? What kind of authority is this?
Re: LP5 - Inferno
Think it means it includes the hit single Father and Son (tape 05)
Re: LP5 - Inferno
It may, but they may be assuming that it is as we all are based on the track number and length.

Re: LP5 - Inferno
IMHO there will be no BoCset archive release any time soon, Inferno will be all we get for some time. There is no hurry for Mike And Marcus to do so, canny lads.
Re: LP5 - Inferno
Gonna be weird knowing I'm among the first to hear this one at the show in London. I'm always late to anything like this - movies, books, albums etc.
Sagan: In order to make an apple pie from scratch, you must first invent the universe.
Basinski: I wanted Cascade to become this crystalline organism like a star or a liquid crystal spaceship, a jellyfish traveling through the galaxy…

I see little reason for the brothers to work on the Bocset when they'd rather release (or not) new material.
After all, who would want to release their early shite done when they were 17?

I feel this too. Maybe the bocset would be a way to redeem the tapes being leaked in some way, though. It seems like that was a nightmare for them.DFD21 wrote:I see little reason for the brothers to work on the Bocset when they'd rather release (or not) new material.

Counterpoint: we only discuss the BOCset over and over because the brothers themselves said in multiple interviews that they were working on it.DFD21 wrote:I see little reason for the brothers to work on the Bocset when they'd rather release (or not) new material.

A lot of that was before the OT and R35tt leaks, so I think it's likely that they haven't moved forward in the intervening 20+ years because half their material was already released.
I'm sure they have thousands of tracks they were never planning to release.

Silly comment. Just listen to staircase whip. It’s astonishing.DFD21 wrote:I see little reason for the brothers to work on the Bocset when they'd rather release (or not) new material.

"Personal recording will be restricted. You may take photos and short videos on your phone or camera during the first 5 minutes after the first track begins, and these may be shared online. After this period, no photography, filming or recording is permitted. If you fail to comply with the policy, you may also be removed from the venue."
By this logic, Prophecy at 1420 MHz will be the single and will be released before the listening party.
