Pardon me, it seems like this is wrong. I emailed Warp.Den wrote:If someone has an extra ticket you can still go, you’d just need to be with them when entering the venue.

If anyone has an extra ticket to the NYC event and thinks I can get in as the +1, then I am willing to purchase to cover your trip expenses, etc. PM me.

Re: Inferno Listening Parties - 22/5/2026
Just catching up now after missing the "select city" email on the 28th to my spam box and the ticket link I did find yesterday failing. My neurodivergent brain is finding the messiness of this process pretty disorienting...like, the last thing I want to associate with my favorite band is lost/confusing emails, expired links and DNS timeouts. To be fair though, this is pretty on brand for the hellish imagery of the album, at least in a modern sense...
So, I'm feeling kind of relieved I just get to stay home and enjoy the first listen however I want, or maybe get lucky on the next round with a local record store party. But to be clear I'm still hella jealous of anyone that gets to go, and I'm happy for you too

I got this too, I had to drive up to a job in the north of Scotland yesterday and actually left at 5am so that I could be at my destination for 11am to make sure I had wifi. I can't tell you how disappointed I was at having to refresh a page for 10 minutes only to be then told I was in a queue of 8 and then be told it was sold out as I got to queue position 2. I almost launched my laptop into the shitting loch. Maybe this is all part of the "world is going to shit" theme of the new album, they've even woven into the marketing campaign feelings of rage, confusion, frustration and disappointment whilst navigating an antihuman digital hellscape. Very clever when you think about it. (yes I'm being sarcastic).southsider wrote:For Glasgow, the link took me to a website that was unavailable, I kept trying until maybe 11:11 then magically it worked and I got straight in (no queue) and got the tickets. Sorry to those that had a much more problematic experience and unsuccessful outcome.

Does anyone know how I might be able to find local record shops that are doing their local "listening events," as mentioned per Warp? I'm mostly just interested in finding a spot where they're distributing unique items / merch. This was mentioned as well.

I believe this says more about the modern enshitified internet than it does the band. A lot has changed since 2013. Re: Inferno Listening Parties - 22/5/2026
I remember an old interview where the interviewer asks the band about a test pressing of Geogaddi selling for several hundred pounds and Mike says something to the effect of how the real problem is that people are paying a fortune for a hunk of plastic.

Definitely. I have been thinking about this a lot. I regretfully glanced at the Reddit forum today (I did not know this website existed in 2013) and it’s terrible. People are posting their ticket confirmation receipts like it’s merchandise. I’m grateful that twoism.org has preserved its form as a messageboard without algorithms.mechanismj wrote:I believe this says more about the modern enshitified internet than it does the band. It's probably the "Local Stockists" link on BOC's website https://warp.net/stockistsTaoTapeTao wrote:Does anyone know how I might be able to find local record shops that are doing their local "listening events," as mentioned per Warp? Also interesting that Berlin venue is a former crematorium called Silent Green. Which sounds very similar to Soylent Green, doesn't it.Altruizine wrote:Gotta say they picked some great venues. The Berlin one looks like a building out of Myst or something. I'd like to visit them just to hang out for a few minutes and I probably should to be quite honest.

Was initially disappointed at being unsuccessful in getting a listening party ticket but I think it's a blessing in disguise tbh, listening to it alone in a location of my choosing will probably be a better experience. Although the acoustics in that London church would have been lovely

And I agree, listening for the first time solo is very special.

The Reddit board is nothing like Twoism. This is community.mechanismj wrote:Man, that is nuts! Never could get into Reddit.Den wrote:Definitely. I have been thinking about this a lot. While I am late to the party due to life doing life things
I also managed to secure a ticket for the Berlin listening party (plus a shirt). The info I got was that no wheelchair assistance can be brought (which to me feels unusual and weird so I'll look into what that is about)
If anybody sees me come say hi LOL

That would have been a fine album title “enshitification”mechanismj wrote:I believe this says more about the modern enshitified internet than it does the band. A lot has changed since 2013.
