This could be some code for bibliographical data
of the JNDS
(Journal Of Near Death-Studies)
say a DOI number
EDIT : false lead, yes this in the 2006 invocation video too.

IIRC Invocation popped up somewhere around the Red Moon / Trans Canada Highway era.TaoTapeTao wrote:They tacked on the 'Invocation' video when this was uploaded, I'm pretty sure. This isn't a super recent thing. Invocation is an older video of theirs. Geogaddi-eraCorvix wrote:That looks like a Day Van

It was originally a trailer for the Trans Canada Highway EP (back when the release date of it was June 6th 2006 aka 06/06/06)mechanismj wrote:IIRC Invocation popped up somewhere around the Red Moon / Trans Canada Highway era.TaoTapeTao wrote:They tacked on the 'Invocation' video when this was uploaded, I'm pretty sure. Re: LP5 - Inferno
Woke up this morning and all of the hearing in my right ear is gone. I've not had ear issues since literally tomorrows harvest. Its like, lifes cruel joke. I am hoping and praying my ear drops work in the next week or so, else I'll be listening to this shit in Mono!

Aye, looks like the single hit my ears so hard that they turned into goo. There's no stopping the inferno, my ears will play ball soonWildfire wrote:Wax build up?llydia wrote:Woke up this morning and all of the hearing in my right ear is gone. It sneaks up on you. I played a track I'd made for a friend once and he was like "nice, but why does it have a massive peak at 3K" and sure enough
One trip to Boots later and the world sounded like someone rustling a crisp packet

Okay disclaimer I fully do not recommend doing this regularly, but in times of emergency it has worked amazingly well for me. It's essentially home syringing using one of those skooshers that you use to water plants. Fill the bottle with warm water, turn nozzle to 'jet' as opposed to spray, hang your head over the bath and skoosh it gently into your ear, building up pressure til the wax comes out. I would post photos of the horror that has come out my ears but it would ruin the album launch for all and sundry TBFH.llydia wrote:Aye, looks like the single hit my ears so hard that they turned into goo. I know this sounds horribly dangerous but I must have done it around 20 times now and every time it's worked. Soften the wax overnight with Olive oil if need be.

Thank you for the advice here. I'll probably be having a go at this! I once had a strange problem with my hearing after mixing high frequencies for too long. One of my ears sounded muffled and I had this kind of non-linear perception of the frequencies. It was very strange, and I couldn’t enjoy music anymore. It took a few days to gradually return to normal.llydia wrote:Woke up this morning and all of the hearing in my right ear is gone. That sounds like temporary threshold shift, which is normal after exposure to loud sound and is usually temporary if the exposure isn't too longScories wrote:I once had a strange problem with my hearing after mixing high frequencies for too long. My ears have been weird since I've been a kid, not anything anyone wants to hear much about, but yeah, I have to irrigate them at least once or twice a year (which isn't particularly abnormal). For partially other reasons I sadly have tinnitus that's gotten perceptibly worse in the past two years. Nonetheless, I can still hear and enjoy a lot! I basically have a little built-in tape hiss. The past inside the present inside my ears!
If BOC does anything after Inferno, hopefully it'll come out before I go deaf!

We sound similar. I don't want to turn this thread into a self help group for the aurally challenged but tinnitus is often nothing to do with the ear canal and everything to do with the gut. I fixed mine after altering my diet. I had it for 10 years with different frequencies in each ear, it was heckin murder.Redd Panderson wrote:My ears have been weird since I've been a kid, not anything anyone wants to hear much about, but yeah, I have to irrigate them at least once or twice a year (which isn't particularly abnormal). That trick worked a bit by the way! Cheers, got a bit of hearing back now, going to let nature do the restWildfire wrote:We sound similar. Do it every day and at some point the 'motherload' will fall out and you'll get that super high pitched clarity that is almost too much

I'll have to check the DVD and see what's different.

Mine has got worse over the past couple of years too and some are saying it may be a symptom of long-covid. Which is rubbish.
I'll have to keep my ears clean for this Friday anyway!
Re: LP5 - Inferno
As no interviews have been published yet, I’m still curious to find out what the concept of this album will be. I wonder if the main theme might revolve around the issue of censorship with images of the Inquisition and sacred texts, references to words, knowledge, science, conscience and truth. In this context, the title might perhaps refer as much to the Inquisition as to Fahrenheit 451.
Re: LP5 - Inferno
Am kinda hopeful the info we're all waiting for will start to emerge after Friday's Inferno sessions. A long-form interview with all the nuggets we're keen on hearing about would be just awesome.Scories wrote:As no interviews have been published yet, I’m still curious to find out what the concept of this album will be.
