Oh wow, indeed. I also had major phases with Kate Bush and Peter Hammill! Saw him live in the 1990's.

They're featured in the July edition of Uncut magazine so I'm not so sure about that.

This review is published. There is some track by track reviews on the inferno sessions post on reddit.

Not sure if we should copy here or to the spoiler thread. I don't want to spoil it for the party goers lol. Sounds great IMO

Back on announcement day, Bleep was frozen and the Pre-Order link on boc.com's Inferno site directed me to their bandcamp, where I bought the CD (plus digital album.) I also remember (but could be wrong?) that physical copies from Bleep back then were advertising they'd come with a site exclusive continuous mix. I was hoping there was a chance that Warp-fulfilled orders from bandcamp would include it. But now that Bleep is selling bonus bundles in order to get that mix, I'm even more doubtful that's what I'll be receiving... I don't remember it starting out that way but could be wrong. I'd like to cancel in order to buy that bundle but am not holding out hope on a response this week.

Tape 05 confirmed as ”Deep Time” apparently (says so on Wikipedia)

That makes more sense because it was hard to imagine the Tape 05 music sequenced early on the album. Please avoid writing any revealing information in this thread until the album is out!

Right, well, since the dominant expectation was that it’s Father and Son people might get to that track and expect to hear all new material from there on out. It could be disappointing even when they get to Deep Time? Even if they really like Tape 05 it could’ve been enjoyed outside of the album as a bonus track. I’m excited about the album and don’t want it spoiled but it didn’t seem like a huge deal

I wrote that to remind everyone because this full review is out now. The Tokyo session already started too. This thread should exist for the album itself, which isn’t out for another week.

And I agree - I’m glad to know because I didn’t want to go into tonight distracted by the question of whether Tape 05 is on the album or not.

I'm predicting that Naraka and You Retreat in Time and Space will be the fan favs.

My goodness, the Uncut review got me so hyped.

Just got an email 30 mins ago from Bleep that my 2xLP pre-order was dispatched.

So it will probably arrive before the release date.

Damn, I also live in the EU. Ordered the red vinyl + a shirt immediately after receiving the album announcement mail and prior to Bleep's crashing, but no shipping confirmation so far.

Just received my dispatch confirmation email this afternoon. Same as you, I ordered red vinyl with shirt and also a cap, immediately after album announcement. Maybe check your emails ;)

Got my "Order Dispatched" email at 5:01AM EST yesterday (May 22nd)! For reference, I am located in Canada and preordered it the morning of the announcement, but it took me two hours to get my preorder in due to the Bleep crash :P

Fingers crossed everyone gets their copies before/by release date! Less than a week to go aaaaahh

I got "Order dispatched" email from Bleep this morning for both CD and vinyl.
Also, happy that Tape 05 is on the album after all. Love that track.

I will preface this post with a huge SPOILER ALERT!

Okay so I was just on Discogs adding some new vinyl acquisitions to my catalog and noticed that the Inferno page
Spoiler: show
now has scans for EVERY SINGLE PIECE OF ARTWORK FROM THE DELUXE EDITION OF THE VINYL. Including disc/label scans and the booklet.
https://www.discogs.com/release/3742315 ... da-Inferno

I can only assume now that we're past the sessions, they were selling them at the events and that's how this got uploaded? I'm not trying to remain unspoiled like many others and while I didn't attend,
Spoiler: show
I know merch was sold at them, and I believe Inferno vinyl and CD as well as the exclusive cassette tape.
Here's the best part:
Spoiler: show
THE HEXAGON SHAPED FLEXI-DISC IS REAL AND INCLUDED, INSIDE THE BOOKLET!!!!!
Spoiler: show
Text on the flexi itself has these credits: Vol.4 - P. Primers - 177 Giraud's Mirror
Ascension recorded at the MWGYF Conference, 28 August 1983
©MBI 1983
45 rpm Flexi Disc

S definitely more MBI fun. I love how the whole campaign keeps touching on the Moody references. I also wonder if this flexidisc has some of the "witch chant" and warnings played at the Inferno Sessions?
And finally:
Spoiler: show
On an odd note, only Mike is credited for all songs and production! Marcus is only listed as a performer but it also takes time to mention Boards of Canada is Mike Sandison and Marcus Eoin. :?:
Sorry to tempt or spoil anyone early but I had to share this. Hence the heavy spoiler tag usage. Read at your own risk -- so stoked for Friday!!!

Spoiler: show
I'm really intrigued by the fact that the credits so specifically say all tracks were written and produced by Mike Sandison and that Marcus Eoin is only credited as a performer. I can also see why they might be reluctant to do interviews this time around as that might lead to a lot of personal questions. Hope all is good in the camp
