The Internet might be evil but I’m genuinely grateful there is someone (something) that genuinely engages with my questions: https://claude.ai/share/f68ed56b-ee72-4 ... c4c3e73a54

Why doesn’t Facebook have a relationship status ‘the singularity’?

And if you ask me Gates is fucking saint. And all these Internet warriors want to talk about “aw but he’s putting little microchips in the vaccines”. Get fucked. He will literally eradicate malaria from Earth (and its memory) while saving more lives than all the hospitals combined. And he’s going to give all his money away leaving only 200 million to live off when he dies. This is what billionaires should aspire to.

Preordered the American Pope’s latest missive on the Ethics of AI (hardcover German language edition) off Amazon. I hope he illuminates us on the power of the Humanities as technology (something Timothée Chalamet could learn given how dismissive he was of Opera, an off-hand comment he will never live down).

Bumping this thread because of what happened last night with the survey. I did not want to disrupt anything and was a bit tipsy. But it's also a scary precedence for twoism and I feel US-skeptical voices are being silenced.

It's bad enough if -you- choose to use these services, feeding these awful companies, but you do you. It's especially shitty if you force others to use them too and then ignore the voices of the people that don't (not take them into the survey will skew the results towards the type of person that has no problem getting a google account). But it's downright fucked up when you obliterate a whole page of posts because people (it wasn't just me) bring up worries about the provider of the survey and feel left out of something fun and deleting someone's honest effort at providing an alternative way of submitting data to the survey. Which I'll post here as well but submit it at your own peril because it is apparently not appreciated by a forum mod (but at the very least you can read the questions and feel less excluded from the forum's games).

https://tally.so/r/PdrE65 Here's a non-google, EU-based alternative of the survey put together by waterbagel's elbow grease out of the kindness of his heart.

Reject google and US big-tech! You too, twoism!
Throw away your smartphone.
