Cool. I get that this is the thread people came to to discuss the album, but maybe there should be a new spoiler thread?

Haha OK. So I thought I just wouldn’t click this link with no caption and it would be fine. Golly

You should make that your avatar!

Spoiler: show
I saw a 15 second flexidisc video floating around a couple of hours ago. Seems like a drone, so probably the one from the listening party.

I am thinking about this one still.

Just gotta stay upright for less than 48 hours, so many things I can’t wait to hear based on your discussions

I’m going to cry like a little kid, I’ll probably need to be escorted away from the premises

considering you just saw a 15second clip it could be both. The drone mixed with the MBI audio. I mean why else go out of the way to list the MBI etc otherwise

I was bad and listened to it early. My friend works at a record store and got to listen to it today and he offered me a cd...... I was someone who was in to prophecy, but there was a part of me worrying the whole album would be as good or not as good as that single. I can say after 2 listens I genuinely enjoy every single track better than prophecy (and prophecy was still good!) Can't wait to digest this one over years .

This was my exact take-away from the listening session. I like Prophecy, but the album really kicked up a notch from track #3.

NO AUDIO
Hold on... what's this? 70 minutes of continuous visuals! Only the first 30 seconds of this were seen in the listening sessions, for Introit. The rest was just animated flames until the second to last track which had its own video, but that's missing from this upload. Very confusing.

ATTENTION SPOILER!
I just received the album and I am coming down from my first listen out in the country (headphones on baby).
Well...I know this will grow with time but what an experience!!! In my (humble) opinion they went way beyond any expectations I had and I am just delighted and high without taking anything. Man. What a blast. Sounds to me like it will potentially be my fav one with The Campire Headphase and Geogaddi...time will tell.
Still, I ended with a major doubt/heart wrench...we saw the nuclear family looking backwards towards the light in the artwork and the album ends with a stopping heartbeat. Does this mean BoC is now dead when they leave me begging for WAY more? maybe an upcoming rebirth? "You retreat in time and space" sounds like watching your whole life smiling and at peace then your heart stops with "I Saw Through Platonia"...
In any case I do confirm they did create their own cult and hope it will keep going that way. Enjoy your first listen guys!!

For reasons I do have the original video file for the listening party visuals - will upload somewhere later down the line if they don't show up before then!

Oh please do! Ive tried to recreate them myself but the visuals for You Retreat InTime and Space are very hard to copy! Would be interesting to see how close I got with the rest of it!

The percussion at the beginning of Hydrogen Helium Lithium Leviathan is extraordinary. From memory after one listen, nothing else on the album really sounds like Prophecy At 1420 Mhz.

Between the sketchy acoustics and my brain not fully being able to comprehend that I was hearing the new album, trying to remember the music in my mind literally feels like trying to recall a dream that’s slipping away from memory.

Great comparison! Little bits pop up and fade away.

Accurate description. NYC 2nd Session was like a dream.
