It is definitely not that music, I have heard (on relatively good authority) that Mike made the pre listening party drones quite recently.

Got my vinyl early so a couple of plays in. Man, this is a GREAT record. Some familiar sounds but lots new, too.

There's definitely a melodic theme that appears across many tracks in sneaky ways. A very Lalo Schifrin-ish soundtrack dealio.

What I will learn soon, but sooner is better if someone knows: if I'm able to buy a red vinyl that a store pre-ordered as stock, do we know they will all include the flexi disc? Has anyone reported any that don't, other than fearful rumor I read that they were only a bleep webstore bonus? Thanks!

What time do the digital versions go live on Bleep for download? Midnight London time? I am on US West coast and I'd rather not wait until 9pm tonight to stream on Spotify...

I was tempted to fire up my VPN and see if I can get the tracks early off Bleep

Am I starting with any false assumptions? Is there any reason to suspect no red vinyl are going to be available in stores? I just remember it was labeled as "limited edition only available prior to release date". Maybe that answers my question. I am avoiding spoiler info still about what's on that disc but I'll presume for now it won't be officially released digitally. To distract me from my missing out on that, I'm happy with USPS -- my expected delivery date advanced by two days over the last two days and CD is arriving today! I might buy black vinyl at listening party tonight. Scheduled time off work for it. Happy mail day, everyone who's received word!!

Or I could even still add myself to red vinyl preorder list (and wait for presses to catch up...) Expecting offer to expire at midnight? The reason I might not: the store session I've picked to attend announced the gift packets are first come-first served reserved for in-store purchases... meaning they are bending the rules and selling early? Or it isn't cheating if it's the 29th in the UK? I thought I wanted that live event commemeorative package (fingers crossed) more than the hexidisc, but now not so sure... What would you pick if it was one or the other?

I've just tried setting my VPN to New Zealand, and sadly not available to download. Boo.

Inferno doesn't sound like Boards of Canada for the most of the time. These tracks like "Into the magic land", "All Reason Departs" could've been played to you earlier and you wouldn't have said it is boc at all. Shame. And people say it's better than Tomorrow's Harvest... Would've never said that. The tracks are mostly just neuter. I can't comprehend the idea behind the album yet. Little emotions evoked, not like on reddit where people are drooling mindlessly mostly because they've witnessed something unusual I guess... and they indeed have.
And that was me and my obssession with Tomorrow's Harvest 13 years ago, even today, where every and each track is distinguishable and tells an unforgettable story.

I'm sad. Will it click? For now it's 30% boc... :|
