Now you’ve heard the album, how does the cover connect?

Now we’ve all had a week to listen to the album (only a week?!!!! Feels like I’ve known these songs for months already!), how does the album cover with the kids (trick or treating?) in the leaves connect to the music for you?

All I can say is that the cover fits the tunes. The color scheme is quite warm and the people in it seem to be enjoying themselves so it fits the happier songs too. If they put a zombie kid or something there it would be a terrible fit for most of the tunes. I think even the Beatty graphics used for the listening session posters would be a bad fit. The music calls for some mischievous energy. That squatting guy and the grinning girl are almost iconic imagery to me at this point

I gave my full interpretation of the album in the Inferno thread, but I reckon the artwork is about what it's like to bring children into the world we're in.

When we're all isolated from our spiritual selves, and the world is burning, what happens to our kids?

Yeah for sure, it is about coming into existence and leaving again. It also has the perfect amount of horror to it befitting even the weirder tracks on there.

I like it, I like how it all gels in my mind now. When I first heard the album it felt like it was raining Jolly Ranchers on a bad acid trip, so many colours, flavours, dimensions. And so I like the red amber green vibe of the outer cover and the uber saturated, creepy as hell, colorful imagery inside, it fits it well. I wish I knew more about that cover art but that's the point I guess. I can't help but yearn for an interview, there are just so many questions and some loose guidance would be amazing.

I liked it from the start. After hearing the album one time, it made sense. This is BoC direct, loud and in your face. From liked to love.

As for the imagery, wondering what the hell it is, fits the BoC bill. Mystery.

When I first saw it I thought it was Cambodian soldiers in a jungle just kind of hanging out or something like that?
