In particular because they have already mentioned this process several times in the interviews.

Like a couple of others have mentioned, I am way more interested in unreleased trakcs from the MHTRTC and Geogaddi eras.
I'm just going by what the boys themselves have said, coupled with the information MDG has supplied.

"We always have enough material for several other albums, but what tends to happen is that our tastes move on and we kind of get fed up with what we're doing. We actually have a huge amount of music that people will probably never get to hear."

Despite Marcus's comment at the end there, MDG has stated that it's taking a huge amount of time archiving and remastering the early unreleased material.

Guys I think the flexidisk is the clearest indication that they are NOT done, and that more is on the horizon. We are going to get a lot more weird, cool stuff from them

That's the spirit, one can hope! I would be totally okay with a lot of non-album releases, or maybe them putting Boards of Canada to rest but resurrecting Hell Interface. Just generally somehow using Music70 to gradually put out gems from their unreleased back catalog. Who knows?

For some reason I keep envisioning them putting up a photo album, then using the subscription thing on their site to periodically release discs of unreleased material to fill it with. I don't expect them to do this, but it's a recurring thought I have. There's an appeal that's very Boards, but it might be too heavy handed?

Ahh yes, I still need to listen to these both side-by-side again, I wanted to check that out.

I really appreciate how much of Inferno sounds like a masterfully realized version of some of their best old work

Word.

We're up for something magical, maybe when we least come to expect it. This summer has been enough of a paradigm.

These guys are both cheeky and graceful like that.
