The comments on TheNeedleDrop Inferno review are insane

Anthony Fantano gave Inferno a 6/10, which is not something I really care about because people are free to have their opinions, but the comments are absolutely hilarious:

"Giving Hobo Johnson a higher score than this is criminal."
"Arrive in Bolton, England, and you will be turned into a cautionary tale."
"if this was an audiobook of Kendrick Lamar reading Dante's inferno in Italian you would have given it a 10"

I don't care much about Fantano one way or the other, but I have never seen someone so cleanly and utterly cooked by a comment section.

I share the same attitude re: peoples' personal opinions (honestly if you told me "ew I don't care for that record at all" I'd be like "alright cool it's not your cup of tea then") but that's pretty awesome. I do love it when people get creative with their passion.

From what I've seen, his comment sections are replete with in jokes and vague references that I'm too old to understand. Think this is a continuation of the genre.

6/10 from someone like Fantano isn't even really that bad a score given he must surface listen to several albums each day. He gets a lot of shit - some of it justified - and his editing style is irritating, but I have discovered some great albums through his videos that I probably would have missed otherwise.

An artist Fantano really likes AND did an hour long interview with the artist gave the debut album for them (Fire-Tools) on warp a 7, so 6 isn't bad at all.
