It probably is a fake based on the earlier analysis of Noatak compared to the live version, but it is really nice to listen to anyway. If the uploader was the one who created it, I hope they make the other two tracks at some point.

In general I find the idea of people making original music to an existing cover/title (and in this case a vague sense of how 2/3 of the tracks might sound) to be a really interesting concept, although it's a shame how often it is used to trick people instead of being honest. (I know there has been a lot of drama about this in the past). I'm going through some of the fake tracks from other albums now and there's some fun stuff there even if it isn't usually that plausible

The end of Noatak features a melody played and then reversed, similar to Dandelion. Not really relevant to whether it's a legit track or not, but I thought it was a cool detail. The reversed melody seems oddly familiar to me but I'm not sure if that's just Deja Vu or if it could have been sampled from something.

Mods should just lock this thread because nothing is real and this isn't either. This is not the hooper bay you are looking for... now can we stop? Its going to be so confusing if the actual one drops...

I respectfully disagree--there's some fun territory where the noise is part of the signal. I don't know if Twoism would feel complete without the occasional amusing fake to enjoy, debate, and debunk.

I do agree with your point here. The noise does make for some amusing occasions. After all, the real hooper bay is the one in our mind.

"The real Hopper Bay is the friends we made along the way," lol. I love this. And "Hopper Bay" still cracks me up.
